After several more hours playing with it, I up my rating to
9.5. I'm already getting used to the crossfader's
lightness,it just requires a firm "follow through" motion
rather than batting it from side to side :)

I bought these two yesterday...

Air - Talkie Walkie - 10/10... Absolutely fantastic... I
can't remember the last time I sat and listened to something
and thought every song was fantastic...

Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights - 9/10... really nice
melodic rock music... the guy's got a nice voice too!

So, you finally got it. Bet it was worth the wait.
The issue with the crossfader should be resolved quickly,
just gotta get used to it, and the lightness is good, so it
is easier to bounce between the thumb and fingers for doing
crabs, etc.
Wait till you lube the fader, it really flies then. Ive got
mine so if you lift the mixer sideways, the weight of the
fader is morethan enough to make it slide at about 45
degrees.

Oh and the headphone noise sounds like crap to me, maybe its
not as good as the original proA models, but I have mine
loud so I can hear it properly, and the noise even then is
ok, besides its only for cueing, go on, give it 10/10.

BTW are the fader profiles useful?

Just installed my new 5.1 speaker system from Novatech. I
ordered these bad boys a couple of days ago and they turned
up about 30 mins ago.

I can not beleive how much better the quality is and for
such a low price!

I have been missing out all this time but now my audio needs
are fulfilled. So far I have been testing them with
Windowlicker, Come to Daddy, and Kaddath :)

Any more suggestions?

the last cd I purchased was some seriously wack shit:

DJ Cam - Soulshine (3/10) What happened to making mad
blunted jazz? he must have smoked too much pot while
listening to boyz II men because this just plain bad R&B. I
guess i should have done some research, oh well.

Also
Broadcast - Microtronics (5/10) short ideas, would fly as
samples, not songs
Amon Tobin - Bricolage (7or8/10)
Z-Trip - Breakbeats 3 (8/10 if you love breakbeats in the
hiphop/soul/funk sense rather than the Goldie/Roni
Size/Photek sense) Basically this is what it sounds like, a
collection to breakdance to. Unfortunately, i dance about
as well as a cardboard box.
