they're a lot better then most of the stuff you here on the radio and stuff... I used to love them so much, and two of their albums have been my favorite on separate occasions... so I bought one of them again to add to my collection, and yeah, after listening to it again it didn't sound as good... but it's still nice!

im listening now, it's alright, if you have something else you wan't to get, get that first. actually some tunes turned out pretty good, i like the windowlicker, come to daddy, digeridoo, quoth (they mixed this one with "money talk, dirty cash i need you, dirty cash i want you know hehe), i like "aex quitacidmi/x" not sure which song is this supposed to be heh. the last one is "this is for you ricky xx" and it's a version of crossroads haha.
it wouldn't surprise me if'd hear rdj playing some of this tunesnes on his gig, he's pretty much the same way, he also likes to use some tunes and makes "fun" of them, it's alright to play/hear these kind of tunes on a gig i suppose.
nacmat - i bought much weirder stuff in the past than this one, and there's a nice pic of richard on the cover :)

who did you mix? various people or afx?
and yes, not sure why some people react the way they do...it's all for fun, i mean it's alright when someone's making fun of people you don't like, but as soon as they start making fun of people/music you like it's all wrong - it doesn't make any sense to me. and they most likely like his stuff otherwise they wouldn't be picking on him :) . an another thing, surely this releases are meant for people that are fan's of the featured artists in the first place.
good luck with that demo.

The new ninja tune album, ZEN85, a 'retrospective' of lots of old and new great ninja-tunes. theres also an album of remixes, but i seemed to own almost all of the remixes, and only about 20% of the originals, weird eh?
ANYWAY.... for fans of ninjatune, its a must buy. its got all your faves on there.its like zencuts, only more dancaable, and less hiphoppy. its also got the absolutely brilliant 'timber' on it, which has the worlds best chainsaw solo on it :D

where a 5 is "average." (actually i don't know if 5 is average, but i based my scores assuming 5 was average. i don't know what the average of 5 is from though)
(by the way "cyriack parasol" is excellent, especially track 4, i would give it at least an 8.5 as well :D)

New scratch mixer came today. Brilliant, 9/10. Gorgeous faceplate (looks like I won't be modding it after all ;) Great sound and build quality and one of the sharpest crossfader curves I've used (comfortably under 2mm slide for sharpest cut in).
A couple of (very) minor flaws keep it from getting 10/10. A little more hiss than would be ideal on the headphones, but not enough to affect your ability to cue. Too much (!) run on the crossfader. It actually makes fast beat juggling hard as sometimes the fader bounces back. Hopefully I'm just being heavy handed and I'll get used to it.

Here's a proper picture of it- the one above was taken with my camera (the one that took the "purple trousers" pic- I swear it has a "gay filter" built in that colour shifts things to pink/purple), hence the pink tinge.
