most of the album is actually very ambient and cerebral.
it's really like a up-to-date SAW85-92.

it's a great record

so many good tracks

on the subject of 'freak' - i love the beatfuckery of the
climax.

oh, and when the reverb kicks in on Freak. possibly the best
musical moment of '03

Blown is one of my all time fave tracks ever, let alone of
The LFO Band. It builds and builds, does it get there, do
we, as beings, ever get... there. Possibly a testament to
the power of human endeavour, or not, and good for listening
to when you feel down in the dumps and in the car. The
musical jewlery box break toward the end is ace, and a bold
move for an opening track.

Moistly is another favourite, if I owned my own bar I would
call it the same and play this track a lot. Sleepy Chicken,
a firm winner too. Millionaire Dogs from I think the import
version I like as well and would like it to be longer,
ideally.

Dancing to Freak is absolutely knackering unless you're a
marathon runner. There's a reason most breakdowns are about
1/10th of the length of this one. Absolute quality track to
hear in a club though.

I'd had it on my mp3 for about 2 weeks and then luckily
found a discount CD of it on the net....and here it is !
^__^ the inlay smells like...victory ! One of my fav aydee-m
albums evar. Energy combined with ambience. Great music to
listen to on a bus at about 6:36.

I wish they'd employ you in the press office at Warp, rather
than the verbose, illiterate cod-pitchfork bot they run
with.
