I think some of the tracks are just okay, but overall it is still a kick ass album... my favorites are avid acrid jam shred, start as you mean to go on, mookid, and of course, alberto balsam. Mookid and Alberto are the two best on the cd IMO. Actually the amount that I do not remember from this cd means I need to listen to it through again!

thanks for that. Every time I hear Mookid I visualise circles of pink and blue tissue paper and I never knew why, but last week I found a review of ICBYD where the reviewer said that Mookid made him think of that. Its weird - I must have picked up on that image subconsciously and kept it all these years.

great album. alberto balsalm should obviously be preceeded by many enthusiastic superlatives. there's a certain feeling i get from that song when i play it on headphones in the sunshine, i can't quite describe.
but i like it's clunky, ugly moments too; like ventolin.
when i was very, very ill once i had a vivid visual hallucination whilst listening to icct hedral. it was pretty brutal stuff, very disconcerting, but it actually distracted from the horrible fever i had.
i'd completely forgotten about that actually.

this is my favorite afphx, its got a lush sound that you do not hear in his music anymore. every track is good, i do not dislike any of them, but my absolute fav is next heap with. i think this track is one of the best afx tracks ever. shame that he never really made anything else like it, but i think thats why is it so special, its one of kind. for me it absolutely blows rdj lp out of the water, this album is like a classical masterpiece while that one is a punk rock masterpiece.

In 'Come on you slags' he's saying 'I want sex' right?
The only lyrics site I could find said that he was saying 'Come on Slags' (I forget what it is) but that doesn't sound right.

Funny how this is so many peoples first aphex album purchase... mine too! Acrid is such a brilliant opener and alberto is still one of my fav aphex tracks ever.. have never listened to ventolin all the way through either. all in all great album from them man, sounds quite industrial to me overall.
oh, does anyone have any thought son the title? in particular the '...' that preceeds it?

I'm going to give you a coming-out party, at your house. It's perfect. You can't refuse. It's my gift to you. It's your fantasy. Fantasia, having a party is not my idea of a fantasy, especially right now. The party isn't the fantasy! I know what you'd like. It's the fantasy you once told me about. Remember? I don't remember telling you about it. What is it? What's the fantasy?

Some damn good tracks (Alberto + Mookid come to mind first).
Quite possibly the best LP title ever.
I'd just like to add that with remarkably few exceptions whole LPs not the ideal way to listen to music.
Mixes and playlists rule. If I'm using itunes the chances of an LP (first listen excepted..) getting all the way from start to end without having tracks skipped is slim indeed. This LP never does.

i find this bunch of music to be richard d jamess bestest - but could anyone compare this one to the analord stuff that is coming out now? wouldnt you call this album an analogue album? all of these tracks sound like he made them in 95 or so, and the analord ones sound new, like he just made them, yet they are all created by the same artist and all rumored to be analogue, ohh mr james you wascally wabbit!
