dude phobs... just because there is one out burst of stupidity on watmm, doesnt mean the whole site has gone to shit. These things happen from time to time on here as well. You should know that best, being one that closes them. The fact of the matter, is people just were goofing around, and took it too far. Its over now, and back to normal. And as far as saying you lost respect for the mods? Dude, there werent any mods on at the time. There usually is a mod around... but this time there wasnt. You cant hold them responsible, if they werent even there. People cant always be online... which you too should know. to everyone else: Watmm and Xlt are both great sites. I think if we took all the people from watmm, and all the people from xlt, and put them together... and no one knew which forum everyone came from... everyone would get along just fine. Theres plenty of people at watmm i see fitting in perfectly here, and vice versa. We are people. Humans. What site we happened to come across first, and join, does not dictate what kind of person we are. So, the forums have different layouts. Whoppdedooo. "Never judge a book by its cover". And, "there are plenty of fine women on the earth, but not all of them will make you lasagna. Most of them will just cheat on you" i admit, when I first went to watmm, I hated the layout. It was way too busy looking. But I stayed, cause the people are nice. After awhile, I got used to it, and now both sites work fine for me. |

watmm members always seem to take great pleasure in welcoming people who had been banned from here as though they were somehow getting one over on phob and crew, which is daft...I have only known people to get bans here as a last resort and it is never done unfairly. And Zeus I don't agree with you about if everyone was just mixing on the one board everyone would get along, I think most people have tried both and most people tend to have a strong preference one way or another...I also think the attitude and mood of the boards differ a lot as well...which is why I stay here...I just prefer it...simple as. |

In general... the people at watmm seem to care less about the whole watmm vs xlt thing, then xlt people i feel a need to write these kinds of posts... because I hear people talking smack so much more on here... trust me... if watmm had the # of threads slamming xlt over there, Id respond their too. (and har har, yes, there is alot of xlt threads now... but you know what I mean. Those werent vicious. That was people gooding off. Xlt wasnt the subject of those topics) |
