Of course he is eager to make money and good for him. I
wouldn't say he is an exception its just he is the most well
known. So people invariable come to him first thats why his
music gets used a lot.

I think there is a lot of snobbishness probably going on
amongst the rank and file of Warp/Rephlex/Mu artists etc. I
don't know definitively but quite frankly they're the best
in the world at what they do so they should get plenty of
offers I would imagine. However its people with small minded
attitudes both artists and fans alike who get in the way of
the music getting even more respect it deserves. I'm not
prescious about this music never have been its the best
goddam music in the world. So long live Warp, Rephlex, Mu
and the other groovy labels and my best wishes to them all I
hope they prosper and become even more successful.

one of my things on my "todo" list is to score a film, with
electronic music.

Indie, Underground, Hollywood...

whatever. I just want to do it.

telefon tel aviv (not on warp, i know) did the score to a
film.. but it ended up going straight to video..

and mark bell produced the score to dancer in the dark with
bjork

oh, and theres a squarepusher track on the soundtrack to the
new sofia coppolla movie.. i dont know if its actually in
the film or not though.
