did rdj do alot of drugs? i wasn't aware he had stopped. doesn't seem to affect the quality of his music though. this is, after all, a little shitty ep. the window licker ep had basically one good track on it (nannou) one decent one (windowlicker) and one piece of shit (equation). this just ups it to two pieces of shit. oh well. maybe his next album will be drukqs caliber. or maybe he'll never release another album. five classics is enough for me. |

Okay, I downloaded smojphace to find out what you guys were talking about with these "noise tracks". Did I download the wrong thing? tracks 2 and 3 sound like music to me, what makes them noise tracks? track 1 sounds like its been described and track 4 is a remix, so i assume i got the right stuff...? |

I've been busy for the last month trying to get into college, so I missed all the discussion about this ep. I collect RDJ music as well. So I had no idea the two tracks were noise. I will still be collecting older stuff, and if anything released in the future is worth buying I will, but for now I stick to the older stuff. I think his days of being the man are overwith though. Just my opinion, and I hope I'm wrong. |

I only paid 3.99 for mine, less than most 12"s, so for me no worries i'll pay that for a cool afx jungle tune with some stuff on side b that i can play to people and freak them out when they are stoned. |

i havent heard it yet but some of you need to grow up. I understand that noise isnt for most people but by just hearing afx noise, how can you say its shit if you have little or no experience listening to any other noise artists(haswell, masonna, akita etc.)Im not talking to everyone hear because many have heard merzbow and listened to it but some of you are just assuming because its noise its bad. all music is noise, sound is a noise. its just different types of sounds and textures, you shouldn't go listening to a "noise" track the same way you would a pop or idm song, you have situate yourself and acclimate to it. |
