my personal opinion is we should stop new accounts until the rest of xltronic.com. did i forget to bold, underline, and italicize my personal opinion? anyway, this "no new accounts" thing isn't news to anyone (or shouldn't be), i think it would be beneficial to preempt clone accounts and trolls at the expense of a few new users... depending on how strong preventitive measures can be taken with IP addresses/proxies, this might be a "necessary" step. |

that's fine, i'm just one person and no authority figure. i think people get put off cos i can make a compelling argument. i should be able to, i'm an english major, plus i've been "chatting on the net" for 8 years. it's all just my opinion, no more or less important than any other person who's put thought into the matter. plus i can be and have been wrong. so it pisses me off when people pin some kind of "god complex" on me since i don't feel that way. it also personally irritates me to see this board taken over by madness. orange dust is complaining over at WATMM about how i don't like "fun." that's so not the case! this was just not an appropriate thing to do (multiple accounts rule) and it wasn't fun for the people in the first hour and a half who thought Victoria was a real girl, not a gimmick. plus calling people names behind spice girls masks is a real sissy thing to do. |

This is all very interesting. And as far as I can see it, besides Roygbivcore admitting to being Geri, that as the only evidence people have had of a multiple account, and until I see someone compair ip adress's or some solid evidence along that matter, then I don't see these aquisitions going anywhere. People are saying that hiding behind masks is cowardly, but let me ask people here. If hiding behind a mask is so cowardly, then why does everyone here do it (and on the internet for that matter)? Why doesn't every one use their real birth right names instead of these internet guises? I'll tell you why, because people like the annoynimity of the internet... because it is a big mask that they can hide behind to say things they usually wouldn't normally say in "real" life. People like that privacy/the mask of the internet. This is really quite a large contradiction I see. Taken over by madness? All of that "madness" was in one thread. And no one forced anyone here to read it, it was by choice people read it, and posted on it for that matter.
