wake up i don't have any control and feeling in my arm

there, really funny a good start of the day

Oh yeah... A RDJ trivia:
Some of the words on Druqks are supposedly "cornish" - an
old form of english language...

I can't find that old link I had about it but maybe someone
here knows more.

Ceri - so your dad has this too. I've read about people
often feeling a presence, or even that someone is sitting on
the bed, must be scary... Many "abduction" stories are
probably rooted in those experiences.

Joakim is my Swedish name. I think however that it's a
biblical name, hebrew or something, but that's not the
reason I got it - mom probably just liked it.

It's not really much to do with English, it's a Celtic
language, the nearest one that is still spoken by any real
number of people is Welsh.

Joakim: Yes, I imagine all sorts of "supernatural" things
from medieval tales of incubi and succubi right through to
modern day ufo abduction can be attributed to it. My Dad
says once he saw three perfectly black discs floating at the
end of his bed when he had it. Being the rational sort of
man he is he did the simple self test for hallucinations
(force yourself to go cross eyed, if the hallucination goes
double it's real) and realised it was his imagination.

If he's disturbed by these things you could tell him to try
inducing an OOBE, which many people find more pleasant since
it gives you movement back - even if it's "just in your
mind". There are many thousands of reports about people
experiencing this and they often speak about very
interesting things happening while they are out of their
bodies: The ability to float through ceilings, floors and
windows and sometimes even that they see things that haven't
yet happened.

Look halfway down the page here for a more detailed
explanation of how one could try to become detatched from
the body while in sleep paralysis:

Thanks for that info, I'll pass it onto him. Interestingly
he does sleep on his back and I didn't know (till I read
that link)that that was the position most associated with
sleep paralysis.

he has lucid dreams, he can rebuild all the melodies to 70%,
he never tried to kill himself, he could never wake up...

i wish i had the power to do that,

existing and doing music.

heres my 2 cents to the lucious:
most of the things i used to create came into my mind whilst
falling asleep.

when i was still smoking dope and gave me the sleeping-bowl
i often had so good ideas which i did on the following day.
the next day i always got up and did exactly what i
"dreamed" about before
(mostly 3d and video-editing)
i even solved problems like that.
the solution lied within me but i only was conscious of it
while falling asleep.

was that good or bad?
