I don't know about the others, but mine cuts out every now
and then, but it comes back in quickly. I'm using Real One.
Should I be using Winamp or is it all the same?

Other than that, this is cool. Enjoying it!

I'm on a 56K modem in england and I can't connect. I don't
have winamp as I have issues with that thing. My computer is
using Quicktime to try and connect but it's not. I've tryed
Win Media Player but that gave me the error Class not
registered

I may get winamp and give it another whirl.

offline sine707 from Frankfurt (Germany) on 2003-04-28 12:47 [#00674536]
Points: 1285 Status: Regular

yeah, me most likely will decrease the sound quality to 32
or 48kbps again.
anyway, I think winamp does the best job on this one...

When I use Real Player I get breaks, but when I use WinAmp,
it skips.

What happened to your pic sine707?

offline Donutman from Perth (Australia) on 2003-04-28 12:53 [#00674547]
Points: 234 Status: Lurker

Actually, skips is the wrong word. More like a tremelo
effect, with breaks.

offline sine707 from Frankfurt (Germany) on 2003-04-28 12:58 [#00674555]

strange :-/ I think we'll stick to 32kbps then.... or have
multiple streams...

ive tried tweking i tunes, the best i can get is 20 seconds
before it stalls :(
i was using i tunes yesterday to listen to loopz radio and
it was fine all the way maybe the quality is just a bit to
high for my 56k .
broadband here i come!

ahh, sorry, I'd have done that, just didn't follow that
topic here....

we don't know yet in what way the radio show will appear on
xltronic in the future, but I guess it definitely WILL be
included on the final site after this nice feedback from
y'all :)
