Jupitah, Definitely...There is too much weird stuff going on
in life for one to completey dismiss a theory...if that
makes sense

It teeters between 2 and 3. @ isn't bad either but i have
trouble getting excited. I get overly excited that i wanna
do this or that and i lose stability. I need to know how to
manage the right mind frame. I am obsessed with flying BTW!!
It never ever gets old. It's amazing how the mind can
emulate such a feeling!

LDing is truly such a wonderful and beautiful gift!

Really is flying that cool?
I can't remember ever having a flying dream....Sounds really
cool!

Cool doesn't quite describe it right. I mean you can feel
the wind. And those gravity drops like when you go down a
hill real fast. It's so great! I could do it everyday for
the rest of my life and it would never get old.

oh yeah Dia, as i told, i was persuaded to run out of my
window and jump to fly..
thats incredible, and i can remember the details of the
streets..
one funny thing is that i always dreamed i fly during the
night, i mean it was dark in my dreams. really like i was
the only one flying and everybody else was sleeping..
awesome dude you have to try it

I have also read that things like pot and alcohol will
decrease you chances of LD depending on usage.

My friend emailed me today about a herb that you smoke that
helps dream clarity. I am going to copy and paste what he
wrote BRB.

flying is wonderful, cause in your dream you're flying, but
it's (for me) symbolic for spiritual freedom, an overcoming
of all fears.

offline virginpusher from County Clare on 2003-02-26 17:00 [#00572307]

The dream herb is all right, its exactly the thing you want
if you have lucid dreams.... here is the details.... its
called Calea Zacatechichi

MILD EUPHORIA
Especially when smoked in a large-enough quantity, Calea Z
can produce a REALLY mild cannabis-like euphoria, but
without the apathy. It's not the same thing, so don't just
buy a ton of Calea Z. to smoke because 'budz' is illegal.
You will probably not get the same effect just by drinking
the tea, since the stuff tastes so terrible that the
psychological effect of the bad taste offsets the euphoric
feeling one might otherwise encounter.

MENTAL CLARITY
Strangely enough, I've found that using Calea in ANY form
tends to clear the mind. It alters the perception of time so
that it appears that time is passing more slowly, and it
makes one feel more 'in control' of things.

VIVID DREAMS
This should be obvious, since this is a Lucid Dreaming
Forum. Now you won't AUTOMATICALLY become lucid in your
dreams, but your chances of lucidity are greatly increased.
Furthermore, your dreams can seem so realistic (in some
cases) that they are actually MORE enjoyable than a normal
lucid dream where the level of clarity is not as high. The
level of clarity, or continuity produced by Calea Z. is due
to the fact that the 'Memory Continuity Facilitator'
function is turned ON by Calea Z. and therefore MCV jumps
(jumping from one time/place to another time/place suddenly
in a dream) are not as likely.

SIDE EFFECTS
None noted, unless you have an allergy to the stuff. There
are no reports (or suspicions by scientists) of ill effects
resulting from the use, long term, or short term, of this
herb.

Good stuff, last night I tried a little bit and I can
rememebr EVERYTHING about the dream... it was weird, as I
was walking to work I was thinking to myself that I was
still dreaming, and I had the old, am I a man dreaming I was
a butterfly or a butterfly dreaming I was a man thing......

but that was just a little drop, I think with more the
experienc

Also i think taking vitamin B helps increase overall chances
of an LD but don't go over the suggested daily dose or it
could cause brain damage.

Actually i have done drugs in dreams. Drugs that don't
exsist and have had really really odd experiences.

Ask a dream character where to find a specific object/person
and you will usually be able to.

t mckenna said many a times that after smoking dmt once, he
was able to smoke "virtual dmt" in his dreams many times,
with effects of equal intensity (dmt is said to create the
alien abudction experience for many)

various LD's

MILDS WILDS TILDS and so on.

You'll run across that alot on LD msg boards especially that
second one i posted

cos im writing a story with a boy who is able to do that,
and gets much more relaxed if he dreams in his dreamscape

I have slept in an LD before. I also woke up from that dream
still inside the LD which was confusing because my dream mom
was trying to explain that i wasn't dreaming. Fuckin dream
characters! So then i eventually woke up.

Nothing like waking up mulitple times before you wake up!

i was serious
my character is a disturbed red hair boy who hardly can
relax during his sleep, cos surrounded by violent nightmares
but has got mental powers and learn to use them to travel
through his dreams, that actually are other dimensions.
i find it sweet to imagine him getting asleep in a
wonderfull dreamscape.
also he can avoid the nightmares, paralysis when he is with
his sister (symbol of his innocence) and reach those calm
places.

Interestingly enough there has been an increase of
armageddon related dreams and dreams in which Christ visits
people. It has been happening the world round.

I will find that article and print the link. It's
interesting. I have to go travel now but i hope this stays
alive!

virginpusher posted i think like 80 times in this threa so
far.

GOD DAMN WOMAN!!!!!

anyways, yeah i have to agree with you.

falling is the coolest thing.

this one time, well, i have always just been running or
doing someting in a car or what not, but OUT OF CONTROL, and
went over a bridge, fell. etc.

and you always get that "free falling" feeling.

WELL I PINPOINTED IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was so badass.

i was falling, i dont know where, looked lke new york city,
i dont know but it was just some big ass city, i kept
falling, and had that feeling in my head (pinpointed to
inner ears)

so anyways, i realied i was dreaming and closed my eyes, and
kept falling.

it's like, right before i hit the ground, i closed my eyes,
realized it was a dream, and kept going.

it was pitch black.

but i had that feeling.

i had that feeling for so fucking long you have no idea.

i kept going, deeper, deepr.

it felt as if i had awoken, but kept my eyes closed, but
that weird falling feeling was still going.

it was incredible, by far one of the best things ive ever
done in a dream.

i pinpointed it (b/c i had that feeling so long) to
someplace in the inner ear.

my theory is, (as a somewhat accoustical engineer) that
since the brain resonates at subsonic frequencies (~ 10Hz
and less,) that you were actually just picking up on those
ultra minu'te frequencies.

hard to explain to peple who dont understand resonance and
the effect on internal organs and energy transforms, but i
honestly beleive this is a way for the brain to perceive
it.

i dont know, maybe im just a lil too woozy to be posting
ATM....

it's sad, i cant really do too much anymore LD wise (guess
what else LD stands for, LOL ) - anyways, i wake up at 6am
everymorning for work or skool, so it's really hard to sleep
in (which was the only time i've ever been able to LD, was
waking up, then quickly falling back asleep)

and i cant sleep in

if i wake up, go to the bathroom, and come back and lie dow

i read the info on lucid dreaming for a few hours last
night, drank some milk before bed, went to sleep saying "im
in a dream" and all that stuff, and no lucid dream. I came
really fuckin close though, i was having a dream and woke
myself up to much and it was wierd cause then i was
paralyzed for a few minutes. i will try again tonight, once
i get this down im gonna try and meditate into a LD.
