yeah, if this thing has no melodies, than what the heck am i
listening to? are you deef?!? yeah, it's not incunabula 16th
note basslines, but good for that anyway! pyew, why do so
many "fans" want a rerun? if you want less experimental, im
afraid youll have to be happy with what they gave you...
otherwise, look for it from another source.

I agree! :)...sort of, in a strange way it is a stepback,
but not really, uhm..

Its kind of a step back to "the good old AE days" as some
people whinin about, I love those old albums too but its
time to get digital, aiight.

People crying, sayin they want another Incunabula and shit
like that..FACE IT u will NEVER get that from AE at least
NEVER (go check Bochum Welt, Darcangelo or something).

What I love with AE is that they movin forward not back,
always move forward, evolve and elevate your style, but keep
your sound on the way.

Draft 7.30 is a step forward but still they remain AE with a
little touch of those "glory days", COME ON YOU SLAGS!!!!
:)

oh yeah, theres OBVIOUS references to the past that i find
quite beautiful... its kinda drawing a line showing you
where youve been with them. its quite lovely... there are
some very finite elements which harken tri repetae, lp5,
confield, even something like keynell

Ok, I'm starting to like draft7.30... it needs a lot of
volume :)

I've been listening to Draft 7.30 NONSTOP since I downloaded
it about 18 hours ago.

I'm not buying the ''more melodic thing'' AT ALL so far...
Cfern and Eidetic Casein were catchier and more melodic to
me than anything on this one... and even Pen Expers with
that fuzzy buzzy synth! And Uviol. Confield seems more
melodic AND more chaotic to me than this one, seriously. I
can't really hum any Draft trakcs off the top of my head
right now.

But it's still great, and I'm sure I'll like even more
tomorrow. Maybe things will change, I'm willing to give it
time.

This album will blow your minds wide fucking open - mark my
words - you Autechre freaks will worship Draft7.30 before
it's all over.

Not long! Though I think that's the weakest link on
Confield.

Draft just isn't affecting me like Confield did... it just
sounds like it's all been done.

this album sounds to me like

"melodies from death star"

ophecks... you can't hum track 3? that bass is nasty, son! i
think the thing about the melodies on this that really
appeals to me is that they are composed of much smaller
fragments than ever before. its like tiny shards of glass
that reflect only the necessary elements. i am completely
stunned by this album... i have officially fallen head over
heels in love with it.

I'm listening to eutow right now and it sounds quite cheesy
after D73. But leterel is still kickin' ass.
