[ 02:13:40 ]  [ grphish ] don't overdose on us ripper
:[

not many really noticed that he could die, the rest were
just... -_-

[ 02:13:54 ]  [ Smoke2k ] you pussy
[ 02:13:57 ]  [ Smoke2k ] eat more
[ 02:14:02 ]  [ grphish ] haha Smoke2k stfu
[ 02:14:06 ]  [ Smoke2k ] lol

sad.

i just hope he didn't die in bitterness because of the
reactions of the others...

[ 02:17:09 ]  [ Smoke2k ] damn ripper your such a
fucking cunt

i just hope he didn't die in bitterness because of the
reactions of the others, if he meant to commit suicide...
=(
i don't think he wanted it

[ 02:17:12 ]  [ ripper ] I am having a wonderful
evening
[ 02:17:12 ]  [ grphish ] you ever done this much before?
[ 02:17:18 ]  [ ripper ] why am I a cunt
[ 02:17:24 ]  [ ripper ] this is usual weekend
behaviour

but still... can't be sure...
and people can be SO cruel sometimes.

[ 02:21:47 ]  [ @phalaris ] ripper .. you should try as
best to pass out in front of the cam

and even after people noticed he was really in a bad
condition, people in his room etc...
they still continued talked about it...

[ 02:36:20 ]  [ spiritualnexus ] has anyone here have
tried Salvia Divinorum?

...

it doesn't surprise me though.

people often can't realize how grievous a situation is in
real life, so on the internet, how could they... -_-

and as i said, some people are just too cruel.
maybe because of their egoism, i don't know...
but they are.
always mocking everyone at least.

i never could stand this attitude, and this is only one more
example of it.

humans are disgusting.

btw...

[ 02:20:23 ]  ! grphish eats nutmeg :(

nutmeg?
i heard once that if one would eat a whole nutmeg, he'd
die... i wonder if it's true.

This sad story turns out to be true. The brother of the man
who OD'd was on our local news tonight talking about the
incident. Part of the IRC transcript egging him on was
replayed on TV.

what really pisses me off in that article, whale, that the
brothers are trying to BLAME the guys in irc, although many
there (by the log) seemed concerned etc.

sheesh, can't they admit that that kind of foolishness comes
from a person HEAD.

i cant say the irc guys did right. but what else they could
have done in that situation? i bet some of them are really
really sad about this....

True, the brother is putting part of the blame on the
chatters, but at least the police have a cooler head on
their shoulders and say he did it of his own free will.

gerbil

this story actually made it on my local news station the
other night.. it was kinda fucked up because they were like
"internet kids egg on a suicidal kid to kill himself" if u
read the logs he clearly did this voluntary and i mean he
did all these drugs and if u dont know the consequences then
its your own fault

its a shame he died but what were his motives?

offline epohs from )C: on 2003-02-04 10:11 [#00540650]
Points: 17620 Status: Lurker

I think it also says something about the way people feel
about the people who are supposed to protect us. I mean,
some of the people were frantically trying to find a way to
help this kid who they were watching kill himself, and yet
they were still scared shitless to let any athorities know.

that's one of the crazy side effects of the war on drugs.
it criminalizes kids like ripper here and forces them into
the shady areas where it's hard for them to get help when
they fuck up.

still, he should've known that taking that much drugs all at
once would likely kill him. some if not all of the
responsibility of this craziness lies on him.

supposedly they tried to call for help but no one knew his
address and they couldnt track him through IP and stuff it
was a helpless situation for those who cared

i think one of the guys on there figured out his phone
number but didn't give it to the ems dispatcher cause he was
scared. I think I read them talking about that toward the
end of the ICQ logs
