405 bucks! Geez.

Ignoring the bloated price and the rarity of it, I only
really like the first track. A real shame that one isn't
officially released.

Not like that matters...

hell! at the end of the day it's only aphex.

might not be the perfect thread to post this, though.

I hope if someone here gets it, that they are kind enough to
make a high quality rip of it.

even if we make more links to the item for sale, i dont
think that will help lower the price of the item

~if that were the case id spend all day making duplicate
links of said item.

hahahahahah

then we could take turns with the vinyl, i could have it on
odd number days, and the rest of you could figure something
out :0)

i have a 192k version of it; 128k for vinyl are more than
enough. vinyl fetishism is nostalgia, though i also 'd like
having the 'big' thing, the artwork is bigger and the
scratches give a somewhat warmer sound. but when it comes to
kbps it's slightly beaten by any cheap mp3 encoder (used on
a cd of course)

you can have the 192k's if you want to

Hey Ophecks and Cheffe1979, would either of you guys be
interested in trading a CDR or two? I'd love to get my hands
on AB5, but I'm MP3-ignorant. I've got plenty of rare stuff
I could burn in return.
If either of you is interested, let me know here and I'll
send you a mail, or give you my email. Cheers :)

Yes but are they the clearest ones..?

I've got the 192kbs version, it just sounds like the 128
version I had re-encoded, with track 1 playing slower. ack!

I personally can't go over the $400 I put on this but I may
have some more trix to go depending.

If I got this then it came out next week I would not be a
happy dragon.

If I do manage I'd be quite happy to go to the home of the
guy most likely to do a perfect rip of this (in the UK) and
just let him work on it while I was there. I'd just fuck it
up if I did it. But it's not looking promising. -.- Any
other time I'd have loads of cash to throw out on a whim but
with it being after Christmas and the new year I don't have
as much. :( *screams*

"man just imagine you won it and it gets cracked in the mail
or something"

My copy of UI Green got hurt in the post, the last 10
seconds of tracks 2 and 4 are crackled as fuck. :( *gets a
rope and a chair*

Imagine if I got AB5 then next week it came out hmm? *places
chair under a light and stands on it* I can't afford this
and I don't need the debt after paying so much off from the
cash my friends loand to me. I'm gonna have to let it go.

ooh boy..
is was affraid of the same thing..
just payed $60 for GAK CD, suppose it came out..
hmm yeah but $405 is a bit more

*pulls Spikee off the chair*
"are you nuts man?!"
"you could hurt yourself with that rope around your
throat!"
"just forget about that AB5"
(lies:) "it must be a very crappy release anyway, since they
only released a couple"

maybe you'll get some other rare stuff.. i hear he released
Analogue Jacuzzi 5, it's a lot better imo ;)

anymore..

i'd cry i tell you

Yeah but that appeal is limited and for the amount of people
who would benefit from it's reissue it's not worth clinging
to. If all 4 Universal Indicators came back out I'd not give
a shit now cuz I wanted them for the music only. Don't care
who made them, It's good music, needs to go out to more (The
mix CD helps) and I've had my fill of gloating over having
the set. I don't think Gak will come back out but HAB and
AB5 are begging to be re-released. People need to be able to
enjoy the music they love without having to put up with shit
mp3 rips.
