I will have to buy one. It will be a wise way to spend money
as I have a feeling that we could cash in on some of the
private tapes we make...

Hey, another innocent, music-related thread turned into
depraved sex discussion, courtesy of your friendly
neighbourhood Meho. The beauty in it, one of the
participants is a moderator, and Phobiazero does not even
bother to comment on it any more. The last days have really
come.

Gantz Graf is not my favourite AE track... i dont really
enjoy it as an audio track on its own, but when you watch it
on the DVD with the video, its amazing, and makes a lot more
sense.

I think NME are pretty lame in the sense that they would
never bad-mouth anyone like Aphex Twin, simply because he's
Aphex Twin, but they can diss AE because they dont
understand it, and dont think that they are important

disgusting conversation here, do you mind?

yeah the video is absolutely fabulous. i can't stop watching
it, it feels like you can reach out and touch the song.
almost as if it's solid instead of abstract

the future DVDs with nice videos like this to the music and
dolby 5.1 or whatever its called, CAN U IMAGINE THE
EXPIRIENCE!!!?? :)

LOVELY!!!

release a DVD with 4 amazing videos/new music :)

Im looking forward to it, no doubt ;)

Oh right, we should all go listen to Photek's Solaris; the
'Bible of Electronica'.

You don't know what the fuck you're talking about, 'Digital
Messiah'.

And saying something like "cuz you guys only listen to idm"
is absurd. 'IDM', which is a fucking stupid ass term to
begin with, is not the only music I like to listen to. I am
positive that I'm not alone on this.

cuz cuz cuz cuz cuz cuz cuz cuz cuz cuz cuz

i just got some interesting, reassurring news about this
sarah dempster bitch responsible for the interview....

Turns out she was sacked from a Scottish newspaper for her
review of a Motorhead gig.
Her review included the likes of "they played all their big
hits"

Unfortunately, the gig had actually been cancelled and she
had just made the interview up.

Not that i was worried anyway, but fuck the NME and their
shit reviewers.

Remember kids, if it sounds like interesting, inventive
music which challenges the listener and is produced by one
of the greatest electronic acts of all time, it probably
deserves a worthless review.

Sweet! Thanks for the update.

Good to see her get her come uppance. Not because she
disliked Ae, that's allowed, but for her shoddy journalism
and rather rascist review.

why the hell are NME reviewing this anyways??

all i can say is

arsebiscuits

i like gantz graf, i like the video and the fact that
whether you like it or not, you have to at least admire that
it can be incredibly hard to sync movement to audio
i think the video is a great acheivment of the creator
i think gantz graf is a good track

i think people who can't understand that sometimes noise can
be used to good effect have a right to their own opinion,
but they shouldn't assume that everyone is gonna share their
own views

am i being a hypocrite?
most probably ;P

I love gantz graf, I hoped they made more music like that on
draft (partly they did) but I am a fat, balding latent
paedophile. Therefore all "IDM" listeners are paedophiles.
Well now that I think of it I'm sure that they are.

i own gantz graf.
i like the videos on it, in spite of the fact that bass
cadet looks pretty dated now. i think gantz graf itself
almost works better with the imagery.
it isn't my favourite autechre release by any means. but it
certainly didnt deserve this kind of biased crucifixion
piece - however amusing it may be.
thing is - it was published in the nme. and the nme is a
rag. fact. everything they print is the journalistic
equivalent of a turd.. on a plate. amazing that some people
actually swallow what the nme say+ take it on board as
genuine, informed musical criticism.
the neverending pattern of championning new acts to the
point of overexposure + then turning on them + ripping them
to shreds as soon as they start to sell any records (due, in
part to the nme's own hype) is reason enough not to trust
the narrow opinions of these talentless, xenophobic,
tasteless hacks.

the idea of masturbating to a car alarm made me laugh
though.
but only because i took it entirely out of context..
