I believe Phobz is actually serious about this site. He posted beta versions of an alternative forum that looked quite complete, which I believe were legit. Then, I believe through extensive testing for many months with hundreds of die-hard acne'd-up basement-living IDM-boyz- who are so hard that they never leaked testing info- it was realized that this seemingly half-assed xlt, is actually the perfect xlt. Kind of like the ugly kid in school with interesting character, who after years of taking care of appearances, turned out to be quite generic and boring looking. Phobz possibly also had to lose the old post database, which would be shit on shit, because the posts aren't even searchable. I believe the best way to reboot xlt, is to keep the interface basically the same but more polished, with totally new under the hood enhancements. OROROROOR OR-- Phobz is some twisted genius, and this site actually IS the new xlt, but programmed to be exactly like the old one. Biggest improvement over past couple years: killing of melting bear. |
