If I'm in a group I usually just listen to them talk about what their favorite chips are or best beer, or soccer talk which I have absolute no interest, I can't fake enthusiasm, I'm a bit asocial these days. I guess it's a primal thing, young women usually go with the jock/jerk/bro types because they want to feel safe and like the attention they get. They usually have big social circles and that means more attention, more opportunities to be seen and more people to talk to, if you're a reclusive wimp you'll get lucky if you get friend zoned. |

I've never read that type of literature but I would imagine in order to get to know a woman out of blue, you either have to be really good looking or very charismatic to pull that off, or preferable both. I think it's much easier for women to do it since men are always nicer to them and they even expect it, specially the pretty ones. |
