Yes. Plaid is Andy Turner and Ed handley.
They were The Black Dog together with Ken Downie between
1989-1995.

yep, there were three in plaid then there was plaid (andy
and ed) and the black dog 'ken'-dodgy split (hence the title
'not for threes') now they dont talk anymore-did you know
that trainer was supposed to 3 cds? honest-except ken
wouldnt let them release certain stuff hence the drop to two
cd's. suffised to say warp wont be letting ken put any stuff
out on there imprint-they were NOT impressed. and it does
seem a bit petty...
