i can admit when im wrong, and when it comes to these guys,
boy was i wrong. this record is unbelievable and actually
unlocked strawberry jam and water curses for me. i have had
them forever and could never get into them. wow. maybe ill
explore feels next. but its gonna be awhile, i just can noy
stop listening to merriweather. unreal.

ive often wonderd what would of happened if brian wilson had

the only thing thats wrong with this album is that it is a
total summer record but released in the dead of winter.

I've kind of resisted listening to these guys, but i've
listened to this album and find it pretty interesting.
What other album should i check out--that isn't such a
"dense shitwall" style? Tung songs?

I do see the brian wilson comparison. sounds like a mix of
wilson, with dubish sub-bass and some Residents thrown in.

overall conclusion, i don't like this. if i'm in the mood i
just listen to the live versions, much better.

ok i've been a retard about this album, it's great. i feel
like coax. it was hard to get into for me, listening to
their old stuff a lot. but it's really good, damn. fuck my
first, half-assed listens.
