Haha this is crazy and also not Squarepusher at all.
However, I kinda like it.

I don't know whether I like it or not, and I sure hope
there's going to be some proper bleeps and electronic
whistles on that album, otherwise I want my money back. Rock
star, drummer, bass player, keyboardist, what are you good
at Tom?

Tommy boy, let's rock.

i like it but only if it gets better

have none of you ever sat with your guitar and amp churning
out superfast riffs to bpm+? it's a blast, it's a blast i
can tell you. sqp has the feeling and he knows what hes
doing. the sample kinda freaks me out, it sounds too much
like i imagined it would, even though i didn't expect it.

anywa, y he significantly lowered the bar with hello
everything so at least this album will be better by default.

same day he pissed in his cd player.

This album is excellent - a total departure. If you're stuck
in an IDM rut you might not like it, but if you're open
minded and have an eclectic taste in music you'll love it.

Meh. It's just about ok, I suppose. I'm quite disappointed
though; if I want music with this sound, I can listen to
other bands, and they do it it better. I was hoping for some
mind-fuckery on his next one. It's the slap-dash approach of
some of the tracks off 'Hello Everything' with straight
guitar riffs and live drums. (Or something.)

offline CS2x from London (United Kingdom) on 2008-09-03 10:42 [#02234176]

But then again, it might fit well into the album, and
myspace does ruin the sound of things.

Only listened to album twice, but The Coathanger is classic
Squarepusher. A Real Woman is awesome too. Its what Quintin
Tarantino would sound like if he made a record.

Bit linear in places - but the live element makes it so much
more rhythmic than your usual Squarepusher record.

There will be no link from me. I'm not going to shit on the
label or the artist - never have, never will. What others do
is up to them, just thought you might want to know a bit
about what it was like.

That's so lame though. Someone obviously shit on the artist
and the label for you, and as a consequence you are shitting
your pants just listening to it and giving us your own shit
in return. Unless you're a proper music journaliust or
something.

What does anyone give a fuck really though. It'll be out in
the next week or two at the most if not already.

[]< is and always will be a wanker. That track doesn't sound
much different than anything else he has done aside from the
awful sounding guitar. Its kind of like, no read
development, just a shift in aesthetics closer to the
shitpile.
