Unreleased AFX DAT tracks REMASTERED

not really - the tracks were unmastered in the first place,
eq-ing and compressing/limiting the mp3s would make them
sound better.

however, there is a good reason why the tracks haven't been
released. They are sub par. Why would aphex want to release
them?

PLUS, they were stolen while aphex was asleep/passed out. We
all know this.

please dont hurt poor aphid bum anymore!

Hi, is this Pedan'ts corner?

Surely to remaster, you need the original masters?
Or has the current world economy reduced recording studios
to recording to C90 tapes now?

- - -

thanks to Joyrex for the little snippets. I'm using my
imagination for how the missing segments go. These short
bits are like walking past a house and glancing in. Full
length "stolen" tracks are too much like peering in someone
house peeping tom stylie. If I was in Richard's position I
wouldn't want internet fanboys masturbating over some half
baked proto-tracks.

While you lot are waiting for full length re-masters, why
not listen to this: http://www.discogs.com/release/753053
It's currently spinning here at dave_g towers annoying the
neighbours. hammond organ funk goodness.

I always kick myself for using the term "remastered"
wrongly... but it takes up less space than "cleaned up
versions of bad quality recordings". Ho hum.

I just resaved them all as Flacs and it's like being in
Richard's bedroom.

Assumptions about Joyrex? That he uses stolen material, that
is, stuff that was physically lifted from someone's home
without their knowledge or permission, in order to promote
his website. I could list a few words.

Rephlex is on to you Joyrex, it's only a matter of time
until they find where you live and get the stolen goods
back.

Richard is aware that Joyrex owns this MD and even gave him
permission to release one or two tracks, but he forgot which
ones. So I'm sure he doesn't mind a low quality 90 second
sample of the tracks.

Whatever happened to BillBurroughs, I want to know, the sour
faced cow? Time was when you could say their name and they'd
just **PUFF*** appear to dish out some acid tongued ...
lashing.

it on that.

Traum = Dream in German. I would believe that track to be a
FAKE.
