even though we've had our disagreements and pointless
bickering matches tolstoyed i think we have more similar
music tastes to eachtoher than anybody else ive seen in
here. in other words you have awesome taste and knowledge in
music ;-)

Making Orange things by VS wins this competition no matter
how many more doubtfully interesting Japanese avant-garde
musicians are mentioned.

Miaaaow! But yeah. i did download and even donate for
Cylob's latest effort... I like the bloke but he seems far
too interested now in creating his own software and hardware
and seems to have forgotten how to make... music. Still,
what am I qualified to say?

Now that you mention it does sound like that, he demos the
code that he writes and goes on the net showcasing his
technical/coding abilities.

The only thing left to explain is his fascination with
computer speech.

Dan -

those neighbours still annoying you?

LAZY_TITLE

A couple of Russian-born conceptual artists had
determined, via a poll of listeners, what the most
unappealing kinds of music were -- then created a piece
embodying all of them.

I was gonna suggest John Zorn too. In particular the stuff
he did with Mike Patton and Ikue Mori: Hemophiliac

gonna have to loop that one, freqy. It's only a 1 second
song.

Come to think of it, forget who is noisy. Just take a 2 to 5
second clip of ANY song and loop it. ... and crank it
loud!!!

... or, run any song through a sound edit program and put a
distortion filter on it. Why seek when you can create your
own?

offline freqy on 2008-08-20 16:03 [#02230593]

oooh whiskers its napalm deaths record breaking song
....which is no longer the shortest song in the world . but
still as heavy. but yes loop a short section of kilye
minouge and crank it up and it too can be hardcore.

I've got that on 7" (though it would have benefited from
being on 12"), full lyrics: "You suffer.... but why?"
