Cheers mate. It's based around the arcade version, but a lot
of the home versions featured the same music. No samples at
all, all done with synthesis (made to sound like a
harpsichord and also your typical chiptune saws) and a
slightly edited and re-arranged midi file, as well as some
heavily cut up breaks. I can't take all the credit for it of
course, the original music is amazing. I love the way it
sounds like aggresive chamber music. For years I assumed it
was a classical cover, but I've since been lead to believe
it was written for the game (although I'm not sure). You
should have email :)

I originally had it down as "Donkey Kong Country" cos that's
what it said in the mp3 tag, but the info johnl gave said it
was metroid so I went with that. I've never played or even
heard of most of these games so I wouldn't know metroid if
it ate my nuts.

Yeah... I made a mistake :\
Sorry about that.
The song is actually Aquatic Ambience, from the SNES game
Donkey Kong Country.
I got a bit too liberal with my copy-pasting.
Any chance the tracklist could be changed?

Thanks,
johnl

I wasn't convinced about this at all as an idea, but
listening to it now, it's AWESOMES. Very well mixed, my
one's the fucking worst by far, good to get it out early,
but, TOP JOB xceque, I must say.
