can i make an original 8bit tune? not with melodies directly
taken from any game, but rather inspired by the whole thing.

Yo Yo, I said you were allowed to submit more than one - it
is then at the discretion of MixMasTr Xceque to decide who
makes it and who breaks it.

I'm not on it, I don't evne have Reason or Fruityloops on my

I'm like you (and also mylittlesister). I've made two
attempts, neither of which I'm that satisfied with -- but
that's why we have just over a month more to go! Time to
experiment and develop ideas :]

And. ..Yay for this being pinned .. thanks pHobes.

Lossless compressed (flac/ape) would be a preference, though
everyone so far has submitted low-mid quality mp3 so the
benefits of a once-only-compressed mix file is lost already.

xceque:
Will there be enough tracks for a mix? I've counted about 12
so far. I hope so, I've been looking foward to this. Also,
what's the quality been like so far?

I don't think there's enough submissions for a mix yet...
it'd be nice to know who's trying to complete a track so I
can get some idea of how many there will be by the end.

Xceque, I'm working on one. I may scrap it and do another
one last minute as it's not amazing, but I reckon it might
be worth submitting.

Would you like me to submit both tracks if I do 2, or just
the one I consider to be best?

The mix can always be filled out with MP3's of game
soundtracks, and tracks from the "Input 64" record.

do it! doitdoitdoitdoit!

need... more... tracks...

ceri: don't see why you can't submit more than one. the more
the merrier. at the current rate it'll be a short mix unless
I get some more submissions. :/
