why are people arguing like wallies?? just have a laugh, be
nice to each other or go to bed. you moody people have
spoiled my fun and pointless thread. i was having fun, but
i'm not anymore.

"lets all hold hands and be friends."

and who are you to be condesending and calling me a girl and
suggesting im not a woman.

im not close-minded. i like taking pictures because it's
fun. i think bodies are beautiful. i posted them here
because it was fun and we were all talking . if you can't
understand that.. then you really dont seem in a place to
judge me and try to "help" me.

I missed all this. Damn. I read all the posts of people
bitching and I can't even see what it was about :(
It all seems dumb to me though. If someone wants to use
their body as art then they should be able to without
critisism. It's like me saying I don't really like
Autechre's music. It's art I don't like, but I don't see
people getting this pissy about it. Nudity as a form of art
is not wrong, dirty, or degrading. If someone doesn't like
it they can just admire other art instead. ex: I hate
Confield, so I don't listen to it.

everything with the exception of sex and basic survival
needs is art. and even those things can be made into art.
its settle then. you're all whores.

sex is definitely art. alex and alyson grey did a piece at
some museum called "god's art"... they had sex in a glass
box for some time

Yeah, look at the company he keeps.
Tits, I think I know what you're trying to accomplish but
you're going about it in the entirely wrong way. Galloping
in with your self-appointed blindfold and scale and belching
out your learned flatulence only makes you look like an
asshole. If you were really concerned about the welfare of
'corrupted-girl' and that of the women in this society you
would have taken the time to climb down off of your high
horse and personally type out an e-mail letting her know how
you felt. Instead, you step in with some snide provocative
comment and proceed to try and rip her limb from limb, in
turn exciting the local fauna and causing quite the
brew-hah.
Now who here is really looking for attention?
I'm just sick of seeing people scathed by your self-rightous
and ENTIRELY UNNECESSARY rain of fire every other thread.

i see your point and agree to an extent; honestly it never
occured to me to email cos i figured i'd only have to make 1
or 2 posts. when my words were misunderstood (whether that
was my fault for not being clear enough or if they were
purposely removed from the context of what i was saying or
distorted in ways it's obvious i didn't intend) i tried,
perhaps in vein, to clarify and to keep things focused on
what i was trying to say about society and about human
dignity. i think corrupted is going out of her way NOT to
see what i'm saying, and that's fine; it's my fault for
trying. believe it or not, i do mean well when i critique--i
do want people to not demean themselves or put themselves in
other types of bad situations. if i come across as being on
a high horse it's only because i've experienced a lot and
witnessed even more. am i supposed to feign aloofness or
apathy when i know damn well that my insight could help out
people willing to listen? i obviously think the answer to
that is no.

"am i supposed to feign aloofness or apathy when i know damn
well that my insight could help out people willing to
listen? i obviously think the answer to that is no. "

Obviously. I'm just suggesting that you might want to
consider being more subtle and compassionate in your
approach instead of running in with a gnarled cudgel and a
warhammer.. There's a million ancient proverbs that sum it
up better than I can. Take one of those pocket-sized Zen
books with you to the toilet next time you have to make a
number 2 and I assure you you'll run across what I'm trying
to say before you're done.

subtlety and patience are things i've been running low on
lately, but i know exactly what you mean cos i used to be a
lot better at giving advice in a friendly way. i take for
granted the fact that i'm talking to strangers, people i
don't have bonds with, and that makes me a bit less polite
than i should be (which in many cases undermines the points
i make, at least to a degree). i'm all about being concise
and specific but i think i achieve a better balance of
honesty and compassion with friends than i do with the
anonymous.

I never put your words out of context. Just because I don't
agree with you doesn't mean I don't understand what you're
saying.

You were the one who put words in my mouth.. things I never
even said you were arguing about.

I think you have some re-reading to do.

And I don't need or want your advice.

I don't need your help or insight.

There's nothing wrong with what I did. It's a difference in
our opinions. That's it.

Why can't you understand that?
