I am here to spread word of a legit way to be invited & gain access to What.CD for those who may be interested. For those who are not familiar, it is a private BT site with a focus on music, but also has apps, audiobooks/ebooks & comics. What.CD offers an official way in the door for those who are interested, and either have the requisite technical knowledge, or a willingness to learn. There is a team of people of status on What.CD who interview newcomers on their IRC, and invite those who make the cut. Those who do not are pointed to the requisite knowledge & offered chances to try again. Ground covered includes digital audio related questions, transcoding, your prior BT experience, what you bring to the table, etc... I too have receipt Teh Ban. Not only can you not "trade, sell or offer" on public message boards but also you are not allowed to oblige message board solicitors regardless of whether you know them or not...I know, even though the rule does not say that. You can do your habeas corpus stuff on the what.cd irc channel 6667 and then you can go to #what.cd-disabled and then someone will interrogate you and shine bright lights in your face and when you've prostrated yourself before them sufficiently they may possibly reinstate your account...they let me back on, I think since I had a very great excellent ratio, but i can't invite people anymore so |

I have an invite but will probably never give it to someone. Everyone I know in real life really have no use for torrents and many of them don't even have computers. People I know strictly through the internet - for the most part - can't be trusted. I just can't risk losing my account on what.cd by giving my invite to people I don't know as they can lead to me being banned by their mischievousness. |
