Is it boring?
I think his writing words are a little boring, but his
speaking words make me feel good inside. I will translate
that book one day. Many people are expecting.

Too shy? Or couldn't find the right opportunity? My friend
Tom got invited back to his place for scones when he was up
in Newcastle. ^-^

I'm too shy!!
But my English club makes me to talk more.
You are lucky to speak English!

That’s ironic because I think you are lucky to speak
Japanese. I guess it's handy considering most the world is
speaking it but when I'm not reading book after book I'm
watching Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Notchi Guu or Naruto and
such. I'd rather watch those then any English movie or TV.

I like "gambler" story in Japanese.
We have discussion group about meaning of "gambler" at
http://www.geocities.com/kevinbonbevan/Jstories/gambler.htm
It meaning is: (sorry I translate using translation
website)
Past, it is something which is almost presumed because
whether because it was not and others and when thinking
concerning the past as for the person when thinking the past
image it presumes and of future from his own experience,
using the image which presumes that past, as for the gambler
where the air is attached to the presumes future image when
thinking it was troubled even concerning future after all,
it was something his own image due to image and it was
troubled and, the gambler who ends stopped gambling losing
self-confidence,

I read about ancient Egypt, I can write a little in
hieroglyphics. I also read a lot of other stuff too, mostly
non-fiction.

He said the book was boring? That's not very polite, just
because he didn't like it doesn't mean others wont.

Reading japanese seems like it is the hardest thing to do in
the whole world

offline Emiko from Osaka (Japan) on 2005-10-31 01:27 [#01765649]

Yes, reading is difficult. But English spelling is so
difficult to. And English has strange phrases, like Bob is
you're uncle. Whose Bob!!!

english is odd because it has words that has like 17
different meanings.

japanese is odd because one of those little characters
looked like a house. i think if i started learning japanese
right now.... i would probably be 85 years old by the time i
figured it out

I'm pleased you are offering to teach me but this topic will
be very long before I understand Kanji and stuff! :>

I'm trying to find a university that teaches it but there
doesn't seem to be any around here. I'm picking some up from
the anime, like gomenasai Emiko-kun.

I have to go, it's 8:40am and I've not slept. I'm gonna see
if I can now. ^-^

Sorry for correcting your Japanese!!
But in Japan *-a-ra and *-ra-a have very different meaning.

Example::
ko-ra-a: "Cola"
kora: "Hey!!"
