If the terrorists/revolutionaries really wanted to get attention why didnt they blow up a toilet paper factory? umm, a Norwegian team actually headed up the recovery and there is a lot of documented video footage of the wreckage. The cause of the sinking was a torpedo which exploded in the tube and ripped a hole in the side of the sub. The front section of the Kursk was sawn off prior to lifting at the request of the Russian government, which the Norwegians thought was strange, but nothing more than a face saving exercise for coverage by it's own media. It was a nuclear sub, with radioactive material still submerged...which is the purpose of the dome. |

They fucked up back with teh torpedo explosion on the Kursk, but I genuinely can see no other reason for a cover up than the government being ashamed to admit to its own people that the flagship of their naval fleet had a fucked design. |

They did not think about the presenting of poles. After the soviet liberation, the Stalin's regime allowed pole communists to be the rulers of their country under the USSR influence.
