this is the results of votes so far

2 votes for kraftwerk made by jaroen were deleted

and

2 votes for kraftwerk made by iloveidm were also deleted

so total of 4 votes for kraftwerk had to be deleted, sorry
for kraftwerk (which btw were my vote)

I am not sorry about jaroen cos he had been adviced, but in
the case of iloveidm he probably didnt know the repercussion
of double voting, anyway rules are the same for everybody
regulars or newbies, anyway I gave iloveidm the chance to
explain and he was finally honest which is a good thing of
him, and I respect him for doing so.
probably he was just doing what he thought it was a funny
joke, but he now understands that counting so many votes is
a bit complicated if people cheat.
thanks iloveidm for your last post.

there isn't a lot of competition as far as who is the
biggest genius on the list, granted. but i think it's
perfectly legitimate to take into consideration such things
as:

a) recent output
b) commitment to music/artistic integrity
c) continuing development

i would always rank rdj album over any (existing) fennesz
release -- but i mean, i didn't even like druqks all that
much. windowlicker is the last aphex released i was really
excited about. just feels dull and disappointing to continue
to support aphex when he is probably composing toothpaste
jingles full time.

Wow, only me, Zeus and someone else (haven't read the whole
topic) voted for Amon? Shameful. And I can't fathom how
Fennesz is right up there, duking it out with the man the
myth the legend. That's not a diss.

drill & bass ain't exactly easy to make, his music has
gotten more complicated over the years. he can't just dish
it out tunes like in the old days.

he's putting out a number of eps this year (according to
phobia), so why call him a lazy cunt? even if he doesn't
release anything doesn't mean he's not busy writing tunes.
that's his passion in life.

its pathetic, you will allways vote for aphex no matter what
he will release, and no matter that all of his releases
sound the same,
bang bang zwiip crash hi hat bang <---------- that was
ventolin, upgraded shit version p.121x.

you forgot that kraftwerk influenced all music, not just
IDM, but nooo, lets vote aphex - we love aphex. i bet you
would vote even if the competition would be about his shit.

well, anyway, its just imo thing, eveyone can choose what he
wants.

gotten more complicated over the years HAHAHAHAHAHA

where you can find the difference ? the tracks from
windowlicker, from drugqks and from i love because you do
and from surfin on shine waves, and from pacman, and from
come to daddy, and from ventolin - THEY ALL SOUND LIKE THE
SAME !!!!!!

apparently, you are so influenced by the guy that you cant
see it. shame

i never heard of i love because you do and surfin on shine
waves. are they rare?

how can you say they all sound the same?

is i care because you do as complex as RDJ album? do they
sound the same? they are very different.

aphex influcenced many, and for a reason.

general. i dont think that autechre was influenced by AFX.
besides, really, all these albums saound little the same to
me. no progress, thats it.

i love kraftwerk, they were the biggest pinoneers of
electronic music. i have alot of respect for them.

they cannot be compared to aphex twin. for an analogy you
might say that kraftwerk created the guitar, but aphex
mastered it.
