they aren't, thats why people like Bjork, Matmos, Trent
Reznor and lots of other musicians prefer them over pc's.

lol, that's why pretty much anyone in the music industry who
know's their shit uses them

Macs are pretty much the standard, they took over after
Atari bombed (if they were still around they'd be the kings
of Music!)
