I tend to keep my anti-xlt comments to a minimum, as it provokes responses like the ones we're seeing here. I also tend to frown on any xlt-bashing at watmm for the very same reason - it stokes the fires. |

I've had a good chat to Nacmat this afternoon, and I must say, I am happy for him....we discussed all aspects of this, and the bottom line is, he has his friends here - he knows who they are....and regardless of the feud between the two sites, doing it is something he will enjoy. jesus, I can't believe I read this whole thread. I can't believe this whole thread exists. Look, its very simple, Nacho was a member at watmm, long before this. He had a relatively low post count, but he was there for awhile, and all of his posts where about music. I think this is how moderators are picked in general. When the admin sees someone who is dedicated (been there for awhile), serious (lots of posts about music) and a good guy. So, my main point... before you go screaming that Joyrex stole him in a move to piss off xlt... remember that Nacho WAS ALREADY THERE. He was already there, and no one gave him shit for it then. You guys thrive on drama, and now one of your alleged good friends has become the center of it. For shame. |

well one thing both sites have in common is they have been prepetually underconstruction for about a million years with very little content to show for it. if one site finally finished something before moving on to a new design they would clearly be the better site. i doubt we are likely to ever see this though. i wish there was more info and less ego. |
