"TORQAMADA
Torqamada are four teenage Glaswegians who apparently have
one perfect loony vision of Rock N Roll to.. "create a
psychoholic death juggernaut" whilst fed on a diet of bread,
water, WASP, Venom, Motley Crue and Kiss. Performance and
attitude being a total full-on rock vibe, expect them to
give Sweatmaster a run for their money. Their hearts lie
with the likes of Ramones, Turbonegro, MC5, Wildhearts,
Gluecifer, Slayer, Kiss, Motley Crue, Backyard Babies.
Their single "Evil Possessor" is out on Blood Red vinyl,
their set will be "a howling gale of loose-limbed 100mph
punk""

This is your band, yep?
Sorry to hear about your singer pissing off like that. Have
you quit work full time to work on this or are you still at
the council office and this is a weekend/evening thing?

It's funny how with that list of influences you ended up
sounding like Good Charlotte.

we sound nothing like good charlotte, but i've nothing
against them. They're actually bloody nice guys and they can
take a drink and a smoke.

You've said that about practically every fucking band I've
mentioned. No hint of envy here but you don't half hang
round with some wankers.

If you're named after the famous inquisitor of the catholic
church, it should be "Torquemada"...

"there's a german word that describes exactly what all
you
knobs are feeling just now.

schadenfreude. you're all schadenfreude bastards."

you tend to meet a lot of bands when you get invited to do
the festivals and shit like the kerrang awards. And
generally, most of the bands are actually really cool
down-to-earth guys. With a few exceptions.

"but it hasn't stopped a certain rather famous record
company
offering us a £570,000 three album deal. And we're not even

taking it! You know why? Because we're holding out for more

cash. You know why? BECAUSE WE'LL GET IT! DO YOU KNOW WHY?
BECAUSE WE'RE TORQAMADA AND WE'RE THE BEST FUCKING ROCK BAND

IN THE WORLD!!! See you later, loser.
"

Seeing as he claimed he was on £40k+ a year a while ago,
that wouldn't be that much to him. 4 members = £142,500
each. Now, if that's for 3 albums, let's say thats 5 years
on average, the total each band member would get is £28,000
a year. Bit of a pay cut for some fame, eh?

Don't forget what you can get from endorsements and if they
really were the greatest ROCK BAND IN THE UNIVERSE then
everyone would want to use them for advertising.

I had considered that, but I thought it best to wait and see
that they were THE BEST FUCKING ROCK BAND
IN THE WORLD!!! Before making estimates as to how much
they'd get for endorsments/ad music etc. besides, I'm sure
Bill's artistic integrity is above letting his "art" be used
for car adverts etc. ;)
