what are the odds for dj's mixing mp3's? because, obviously
the vinyl-industry is kept alive by dj's and when they start
to make their mixes at home (traktor) then the end is near.
personally i'm happy with online shops like beatport. i'd
rather have a good rip of an old classic than the original
ep. and it resolves the distributor-shit too (well, almost).
besides, it's cheaper to sell too.

thats just what is happening, its easyer to carry a small
laptop around the world then heavy f/cases full of records

so instead of obscure whitelabels, small niches where people
exchange music via the net (myspace?) is the new norm

i can live with that. it totally ruins the trading of
limited ep's on ebay too.

The vinyl industry is kept alive by audiophiles, not just
DJ's.

And look at punk music. They were still pressing punk
records after cd's had supposedly killed vinyl.
