We had an award ceremony shortly before our silent auction
began.

We awarded the team leader of the Junior Scientists
(pictured with his father here)

that's interesting... i'm not too caught up with current
scenes at all. i only know some periods that i particularly
liked in certain regions.

I cannot explain. Sorry my bad english.
If you come to Japan you will understand.
My teacher from Australia understands new generation. He
taught me Boards of Canada. We have a big teaching club.
I saw release of Pia Opus!!!

well, i have no idea about current scenes either. i was
refering more to the number of artists i like from thoes
countries. but japanese has a very healthy music scene from
what i know. there isn't a genre they wouldn't cover and it
seems it's really working great for everyone. unlike some
european countries where musicians call each other names and
stuff.

i don't think japan is changing into new generation, or at
least i hope that isn't so. there are too many great artists
that are years ahead of what western musicians do. they're
not affraid to try new things, infact the old artists seem
to be the most avant guarde. maybe im wrong..who can
tell..maybe that australian teacher..

Yes, I think so.
It's not age in body but in mind. Like Takemura-san, he is
ojisan but always new generation.
My teacher says:
"how old would you be if you didn’t know how old you
was?"
It is page 6 of our Textbook.

"how old would you be if you didn’t know how old you
was?"

haha, i love that one!

takemura is definitely a good example of a young mind, sure.
but same goes for those others mentioned above imo.

there really is a little story about two guys discussing BOC
in chapter 14 of that book. it's not such a good story at
all. in fact, it's pretty gross and boring. this guy
creeps me out a bit with this website...
