the 'boards of canada' is a lot larger than on geogaddi and
mhtrtc

I bet it means..... !!

nothing

welcome to boards of dublin and easterlingman!!

I think this is a full album and not a single and if i
remember correctly a talk about a boxed set is to follow.
dont know what came of that though.

I heard that too about the box set but i think that was just
fake.

It came from a legit source who appearently comes from the
hexagon sun camp. but still they were "discussing" the idea
with warp.

It shows that they want to do it but Warp perhaps may not. I
would like to say "look at their junk decisions as of late"
but i wont.

heres hoping for the best!!

from the valleys of scotland

it is not a very nice cover, it is a lazy merging of mhtrtc
and geogaddi covers. not very much work done into it and it
just passes muster. just.

and the album title is beyond shite. i know i am being
nitpicky but it is an ugly title. what on earth. the
campfire headphase. what wank, how very predictable and how
extremeley unpleasing to the ear.

that said, i am very sure that the tracks will blow my mind
away and make me not give a shit about the shite cover and
beyond shtie title.

the music will bring meaning to the album cover and title
maybe

"geogaddi" respectively..?

well i wouldnt know as i wasnt in this situation with those
2 albums. i just bought 'em straight off. no hype. how about
you?

what does hype have anything to do with it?

do you understand the titles of those albums any better
because of the music?

Is this definitely an album then? Not an EP? The pic's ok
but it's a terrible title, and I don't like the font much
either. Though these things usually look better as the
physical item itself.

i never looked or thought in depth about the covers or
titles because i just bought the albums, put them on my
computer, put the albums out of site and listened to the
tracks. it's different with this album, there's more
mystery. for me, the hype does have something to do
with it

now i think about it, the music more brings a feeling to the
album covers as oppose to a meaning. it's not quite the same
though because i've always associated the two and it's not
going to be the same with this album!

I just read this news over at the Twoism forum.

Great name, coverart, font and I like the polaroid style
"flyer" as well. And it's kind of funny they used the Dutch
(European) way of showing the date.

mhtrtc has a cool blue feeling. geogaddi has a dark red
feeling. i wonder why? oh right, because visuals are just as
important as audio. unless you're blind.

why is that date exceptional?

like you say it's the European way to write a date - BoC are
Scottish and Warp is an English label.

anyone notice from the track names that it looks like they
seem to have grown up abit or someting? the names a more
relating to you and i.
like this one "Hey Saturday Sun" as in weekend and no work.
and "Slow This Bird Down" driving on a open road or
something fast like that.

anyone?

Yeah and "Sherbert Head" is clearly about the sensation one
feels in one's head the morning after a night of
indulgence.

No I don't agree.
