do any of you guys who binge drink ever get crazy intense
vertigo for a second or two when you're sober?

that was one of the scariest side effects i noticed when i
was drinking hard 4 or 5 days a week.

like, when i was totally sober just all of a sudden out of
the blue i'd get very dizzy for a second and then it'd go
away.. almost just like a flash of complete loss of balance.

That falling feeling? I have them often, flash seconds.
I once had one of those happen to me whilst lying down
though, it lasted very long (too long) and i felt that if i
let go completely my heart would stop. The further "down" i
was going to closer to death i though i was. During the
whole procedure, i managed to half put my headphones near an
ear, the music was brilliant and i had never heard anything
like it.

After all this i cried shortly to realise i had no
headphones near me.

binge drink = drink a large amount

i've only really gotten real vertigo a couple of times
(like, twice) and both of them were on the sides of really
high cliffs when i was about to fall, and that sucked.

this was something different, that would happen when i was
sitting on the couch or something. just all of a sudden i'd
get a flash of intese dizziness that would freak me out
then it'd leave almost immediately, lasting maybe a second
or two at the max. that was in some ways worse than "true
vertigo" in that it didn't seem to have any cause.

but, i haven't gotten it once since i quit drinking so
stupidly much.

it wasn't really a "falling" feeling... more like the
complete inability to tell which way was down.

like, for just a split second the world swirled around me
wildly, then it stopped and i was ok. all in the span of a
second.

I had a few of those vertigo flashes last year and I used to
get sudden jolts in my field of vision, everything would be
diagonal for a second or so, it felt like I'd had an
electric shock or something. It hasn't happened for a while
now.

I think i know what you mean about the vertigo, i used to
confuse them with the onset of a panic attack but i kind of
got to tell the difference after a while. Not very nice.
Sometimes my vision used to go blurry and weird the day
after a long night's drinkin' too, like everything looked
2d.

shope + samfactoíre: ever had migraines?

I've had them all my life, and I think these
vertigo-thingies are connected to them.. the sight-stuff for
sam sounds more like the start of a direct migraine
attack...

The qrter room must be the smelliest room in
existence! And I wish some sort of extra italicized
italics were possible for "smelliest".
