hmm, it isn't mixed really, just put together, but i just
love all the songs :)

it isn't a problem at all, infact i posted it coz i was
hoping someone would enjoy those songs as well hehe

(does it matter if it's wma or would you prefer mp3?)

i'm still listening to it right now... i'm on the elysian
fields track... i love this is album...

this is a good mix because it has it's own style... the
tracks pretty much fit together. you must have an ear for
that... it sounds like the soundtrack for a movie or
something.

but the reason i had to post halfway through was to make
this recommendation to you:

bee and flower

i have their album. it's not perfect - there are some
tracks that are a little bit mediocre... but when it's good
it's great. there are some really nice tracks on it. check
it out.

Why rip them to mp3 first and back to wav? There's a loss
in quality doing that. If you already have the cd's there's
no need to convert to mp3 first... May as well just rip
cd>wav

thanks for the feedback :)

i wasn't overly concerned with how the songs will go
together (well, just a little), i just put together songs
that i really like lately, and it does sound like a
soundtrack or something :)

i'll check out that album as well, im always opened for new
stuff especially from people like yourself.

vin3islih, i only have a 120 GB hdd so making wav's really
isn't an option for me..

A simple fav+ ambient compilation

01. Helios - Lifecycle
02. Brian Eno - Lantern Marsh
03. Brian Eno - A Clearing
04. Brian Eno - Dunwich Beach, 1960
05. Biosphere - Poa Alpina
06. Biosphere - Antennaria
07. Aphex Twin - Matchsticks
08. Robert Rich & Steve Roach - Magma
09. Robert Rich & Steve Roach - Ceremony of Shadows
10. Steve Roach, Michael Stearns, Ron Sunsinger - Passage
Three
11. Steve Roach - Cloud Space
12. Tim Hecker - 9000 Miles
13. Tim Hecker - Azure Azure
14. Aphex Twin - Grey Stripe
15. Aphex Twin - White Blur 1

You all know these songs, but they rock when played in this
order, climaxing on 12 & 13.

Blinkered and not so far away from pop. Why pick each of
those?

Why blinkered? It's simply some of my favorite ambient. If
I'd have liked some of the more obscure and relatively
unknown stuff out there I would have listed that instead.
It's that simple really. No urge arising here for any overly
abstract, exploring the boundaries type of ambient just for
the sake coming across as a sophisticated appreciatior, I'll
leave that to you.
