the more you listen to the album the more you fall in love with it, so buy it and be with love with :D
@tolstoyed: the notwist are german band, using electronic elements for their songs. it's indiepop on high level :D console is a sideproject of a member of the notwist, with whom björk worked together for vespertine, actually.

yeah, actually tied & tickled trio is side project of the notwist. console is also one and lali puna (was for a while radiohead's fav band) another.
difficult to say which is best, i have only album of console and the notwist, but i wanna check out more of them :D

just found out the song 'mike mills' is named after the guy who directed their first dvd eating sleeping waiting and playing. which is apparently a film about air on tour by mike mills. kind of a cool bit of trivia.
wonder if the dvd is any good? i almost bought it a while ago. can't wait till i have money for the special ed. talkie walkie :)

here's blowfield's comment on speacial edition bonus dvd: "it is a concert DVD with live music of them (great live performances, indeed!!!), and they switch always between air-backstage, air-onstage, air-in-hotel, air-kidding around, and such like"

you quote me *g* interesting :-)
spoonz: the difference between the regular edition of talkie walkie and special edition is 2-3 dollars, in my case 1 euro, only ! :-)
i am interested in their "eating sleeping waiting and playing"
btw: is the director of this bonus DVD mike mills, too? because i read his name as director of air the other day...

okay, I'll be the first.
I think it's pretty boring. yes, BORING!
first four tracks are okay than it goes downhill rapidly, with pseudo-Beatles-rip-offs etc. badbadbad.
I've listened to it about 5 times then forgot about it, until I saw this topic.

Read the first few threads but can't be bothered reading the rest right now, will read them later.
Would just like to add my own thoughts.
I consider "10 000 hz legend" to not only be Air's greatest album but one of the greatest albums ever made, and my record collection extends into the thousands, there is more fun and invention on each track than most acts can sustain throughout an album, I can't believe people were dissing it earlier, oh well, their loss.
As for "Walkie Talkie", well it's great but there are about four fillers so all in all about 29mins of great music, "Run" is one of the best things they have ever done.
