WTF is Floydy?

i was thinking pink floyd influenced...it has that pink
floyd touch to it.
tho it's mor apparent on 10.000 hz, there's hardly any sign
of pink floyd on this new one imo

i just d/l-ed a few tracks and i'm totally loving it! very
melodic electronic 'pop', i'm definately put this one on my
wishlist.

tracklisting:

1 Venus Air
2 Cherry Blossom Girl Air
3 Run Air
4 Universal Traveler Air
5 Mike Mills Air
6 Surfing On A Rocket Air
7 Another Day Air
8 Alpha Beta Gaga Air
9 Biological Air
10 Alone in Kyoto Air

minus the 'air' on every spot.... Cherry Blossom Girl was
'the essential' on id&t radio, it's a GREAT track.

i bought the limited edition with the dvd. the dvd is cool.
buy it pantalaimon, don't hesitate!

it is a concert DVD with live music of them (great live
performances, indeed!!!), and they switch always between
air-backstage, air-onstage, air-in-hotel, air-kidding
around, and such like, it is good buy, and as you said, only
one pound more, so get it get it :-)

since you are doubtless the greatest air fan, you should buy

is there a life beyond xlt for you? :D

tolstoyed, my girlfriend (she comes from japan) said CDs are
quite expensive in japan (you are from japan, aren't you?) -
so it not better to sell it to the crowd, the weak version
of the album?

yes, actually there is...on the way from home to work and
then back home again.

and you're the 3rd person who made a mistake thinking im
from japan; it clearly says: "tokyo...i wish". -i'll have to
change that obviously :)
and lucky you i might add, japanese girls are nice 8-)

btw: simian are a popband using electronic elements in their
songs. some songs sounds really nice, although i can only
tell you about their debut album, they have released a new
one, too, last year i think.

check them out, maybe you like them, too :-) (in german
indie-music magazines it was highly recommended)

"alone in kyoto" is the reason i'll be getting this (heard
it on the Lost In Translation soundtrack), i'm hoping the
other tracks are as good as this one.

ahhhh

Fuck, I just got this today.

$11.99 for the special edition CD, with a 35 mins live DVD
(with clips of the band on the road). The live disk (while
not greatly mixed/recorded) is a fucking awesome performance
of several of their older tracks.

The CD itself... amazing. Chill, emotional, happy, sad.
Beautiful.

I love Air's melodies... they are always catchy, melodic,
but unique and unexpected. On first listen, you're like,
woah, I didnt see that coming, but in retrospect, its great,
and works smoothly.

If anyone likes Air, or chill music, I reccomend this.

I heard it in full on their website. It's all right. Nothing
really stands up to "Alone In Kyoto" which I already have on
the Lost in Translation soundtrack. I'm not sure if I'll get
it.
