ain't it funky! nah, cats don't like ragga, they like the bug and this remix.. ragga isn't as good as north american dancehall IMO.

why is it snobbish? its my opinion, thats all. slightly cynical maybe. is it necessary to be so defensive by saying what i said was retarded and snobbish? i happen to think there is a lot of truth in what i say, i'm sure other people will agree with me too. plenty of people here will now jump on the bandwagon. aphex twin could release a turd and people would still buy it.

yep.
next step after Initial Disappointment is the Slow Deprogramming Of Own Opinion - "well, after listening to it for 347 times back to back I'm starting to like it.." (read: "I really want to like it, I REALLY want to, so like it I shall!")

I've been avoiding this thread cos a) I didn't really care what other people thought of this EP, and b) it seemed to get a slating in threads on other boards and I don't care to read too much unthinking slagging-off like these things invariably become... but... blimey! looks like RDJ has achieved another success.
No matter what individual folks think of the record it's got you all in a flutter about it.
