aphex twin does a 'remix' of a the bug track and suddenly
everyone likes ragga. what a shock.

ain't it funky! nah, cats don't like ragga, they like the
bug and this remix.. ragga isn't as good as north american
dancehall IMO.

doh!
Well can you blame me ? I had just expressed my love for the
bug remix and then came your snobbish remark.
Well good then.....fuck it! =)

why is it snobbish? its my opinion, thats all. slightly
cynical maybe. is it necessary to be so defensive by saying
what i said was retarded and snobbish? i happen to think
there is a lot of truth in what i say, i'm sure other people
will agree with me too. plenty of people here will now jump
on the bandwagon. aphex twin could release a turd and people
would still buy it.

yep.

next step after Initial Disappointment is the Slow
Deprogramming Of Own Opinion - "well, after listening to it
for 347 times back to back I'm starting to like it.." (read:
"I really want to like it, I REALLY want to, so like it I
shall!")

Yeah you are probably right.
It doesn't bother me that much tho.

I've been avoiding this thread cos a) I didn't really care
what other people thought of this EP, and b) it seemed to
get a slating in threads on other boards and I don't care to
read too much unthinking slagging-off like these things
invariably become... but... blimey! looks like RDJ has
achieved another success.
No matter what individual folks think of the record it's got
you all in a flutter about it.
