answer.

Yeah, that whole newbie comment was just something I
shit onto the keyboard the other day.. I didn't realise so
many feelings would get hurt. I was just wondering how many
people remixed a tune.

Goddamn, it must suck being such a newbie that you don't
understand my awesomeness.

Everyone was a newbie once so no one can really use "newbie"
as an insult...

I think people can get annoyed when someone who is new here
starts saying things like, "This board design is shit, why
don't you use PHP?" or makes suggestions about the way the
board is run.

offline LuxExTenebris from ehh... tenebris? (United Kingdom) on 2003-04-27 10:58 [#00672598]

Newbies aren't what they used to be, they get worse with
every season... heheh...

luxextenebris: i just sort of assumed it was that afecks
guy... ive never met anyone else online who acts just like
that. i mean, there are trolls, and then theres they guy who
actually thinks he's funny... that's skyfarmer. plus,
skyfarmer picks one dumb thing to do or say and runs it into
the ground like a bulldozer.

offline LuxExTenebris from ehh... tenebris? (United Kingdom) on 2003-04-27 13:55 [#00672935]
Points: 478 Status: Addict | Followup to tibbar: #00672913

Haha... Sounds like a complete shithead, no? How to
recognise a skyfarmer when you see it? Are there any
anti-skyfarmer systems on the board?.. lol

you know what - you are a skyfarmer candidate imo. this time
i'm really not sure so maybe you have learnt or i am wrong.
and i think some people think the same

take this further.

hahahahahaha i think hes been around long enough without
getting into any trouble.

remember... skyfarmer cant help himself. THATS his calling
card. he will always be spotted right away, because he has
no restraint.

btw, sorry phob... this is all VERY off topic.

what made me suspicious was that the very day skyfarmer gave
up several ppl appeared who got off very well from the
beginning, they somehow knew how this little microcosm
works. oh well...whatever

i think that the much answers to newbies etc. was an offense
on me. i don't have less respect to people with less points.
i try to help them, remember i was i newbie to...

the only thing is if someone creates an account, sends the
mp3's to the contest and goes away... that's not very nice

And please, let's see who wins the contest and keep the
newbie ramblings for that glorious moment.

?'s:

what's the skyfarmer story?
and does anyone think they can define "newbie"?
i dare you.

you folks need to calm the duck down about this whole newbie
thing, and points and posts and crap like that. who cares?
often one simply has nothing to say. or chooses to refrain.
are those with big mouths/keyboards to be rewarded for
making one word posts about nothing 8 times a day, and other
times complaining about something someone else said about
someone else, when none of it probably pertains to you. and
if you think it does, you have issues with insecurity. i've
been reading this board for about a month, and i've been so
dumbfounded at the rampant stupidity here that i've simply
been unable to find the words to express my disgust for this
miasma.

i mean to make no enemies, but sheesh, at least TRY not to
sound like idiots.

the skyfarmer story:

you cant see, because sine removed it, but my comments were
directed a sky's newest attempt to get back on the board.
anyway, he's gone.

Please.. what is this whole "newbie thing" that everyone is
getting so upset about? What was said about those with fewer
posts that sparked these accusitory replies?

I really don't get it. Who needs to calm down?

Maybe there were some posts that were deleted or something.

it is strange, isn't it?

why do people even CARE if they are called n00bs or
whatever..?

I wouldn't.

It's always wise to be suspicious about n00bs because they
might be spies from alien civilizations.
