seriously, i am trying to psyche myself up to look at that again but i can't bring myself to do it. i think it's the clock illustrating the scale and "in the house-ness" of that critter that is doing it to me.
i gotta love seattle, the biggest spiders here get no bigger than an oreo cookie.. usually

WTF is wrong with you?! A nice spider of an average size, that's all. I'm not running to my mommy only because I saw a stupid spider. Once again, what is wrong with you all?! Is it a matter of personal matter?

your attempt at humor is disappointing in its inneffectiveness.

No humor at all, man. I'm dead serious. I'm amazed by the effect those (even huge) spiders have on you.

that spider is a very large (not average) huntsman spider from australia. i'm sure if one crawled up your arm you'd freak and spray raid on it or something. of course something that large snorts raid for fun, so that would do no good.

You'll probably percieve that as humour, but I think those big furry spiders are cute. Did you look at its eyes? The multiple little eyes

haha, this thread is so good...
I'm petrified of spiders, now I'm also gonna have nightmares. Geez, that spider is revolting!!
But non-Australians, it's funny how you think we have like crocodiles and spiders walking around our cities....we don't live in the desert, ya know! Encounters like that happen very rarely, if at all. It's funny, people's perceptions....
But yes, in regards to your avatar, surrounded, I've always linked it to you in some way...which is why I'm keeping mine for ever - long-term avatars are the best.
