well ajax won the champions league 3 times, they're nowhere to be seen these days. hopefully next year they'll strike again. there are no italian clubs in the quarter finals for the second year in a row (which is pathetic, considering the wages that players are paid over there) the competition in spain is (again, no offense) chaotic. none of the super teams (esp. barcelona and real madrid) perform consistently. ok, man utd aren't doing very well in england (they had a bad start) they are still a top side in the cl, as is liverpool, who won the uefa cup last year as well as the cupwinners cup. these, i think, are the last years of the southern domination for a few years. they'll have a comeback, ofcourse :) |

spain has put 3 teams in the 1/4 finals in the last 3 years in 2000 the finals was 2 spanish teams in 2001 one team was in the final (munich won by penals) italy plays the worst football...no imagination ajax is nothing compared to real madrid (i love ajax , cos of cruyff) I agree about barcelona being not a good team right now... but real madrid?...come on |

spanish league has about 6 teams that could do somehting important in europe... so does England... but netherlands, france, germany...they have like 2 or 3 (no more) competitive teams |

Italy is an extrange country...they use to win always...but not last years anyway they also use to have like 5 or six teams among the best of europe (juve, inter, milan ac, lazio, roma...) |
