oh, you got me, i have only one thought then... and it is
that someone called valor mentioned it/them on an electronic
music board, so i guess it is some kind of musician or
something similar...

I heard this playing about a month ago in an independent
shop, I'll tell you about that later.

I like their sound, it's a bit like what I've been trying to
aim at but with more guitars than synths.

The shop I heard it in told me that they've been receiving
albums from a special supplier that gives them the CD about
a month before the actual proper release. This is supposed
to make independent shops more popular, etc. etc. I thought
it was quite a nice plan.

i like them, i haven't heard "classics" but the previous
album is decent. very cheery melodies.

I know one of their singles, which was OK, but not very
good.

y'might wanna try giving 'Desert Eagle' a listen. its
nothing extraordinary but it can get quite catchy at the
very end... its one of those songs that grow on you.

I have slowly come to the realization that everyone who
is/was signed to Audiodregs is mind-blowingly awesome.

Though I haven't heard any of Ratatat.

ratatat, is hard to critique. i mean if you listen to it for
what it is you might say its uninspired dribble. i dont
know how. i take it as sorta catchy innocent fun... i mean
if i want something complex i'd listen to something else but
sometimes its nice just to jam on with some heavy stuff...
it kinda gives you mix of minimalism synth work with heavy
(or acoustic) riff chords.

I've got both albums. I like their sound. It's pretty
distinct and original. Sometimes I wish they were a bit
heavier; some of their tracks come a little too close to
elevator music. :)

ok, now i have some more thoughts...
i got his last album as i loved boomkat samples. pretty
original sounding and evolution of the tunes, althought
sometimes they lack something, like a more logical
destination.
happy flowing.
a bit there with last boc, daft punks dicovery, and stffff
electronics with guitars and stuff,
but pretty nice beats
blabla

'nostrand' is a mindblowing tune. don't care much for the
rest of the album but this one is just brilliant.

Classics was bland. Liked "Wildcat" and the first track
though.

i really loved seventeen years when i first heard it, but
only found a couple other songs from their debut to be of
interest.

when classics came out i gave it all of one listen then
canned it.

but their new disc LP3 is fucking spectacular. much wider
range of sound, and over all better song writing on this
disc. i feel like they can/will do some great things in the
future judging by the direction they seem to heading with
this one.
