wants but i dont know how to get it to you....but yea, the
intro is killer...earth i guess it could be them but i have
no idea...i also have 2 live aphex sets from 97 that soiund

you haven't heard this one? is this the flac version?

it was recorded with a head-worn microphone made by
this company and a dat recorder.

so it sounds way better on headphones.

also the opening track is by Earth from here

it's the flac version converted to .m4a.

and i'm surprised most claim they haven't heard this one as
well. especially elusive. i wouldn't be surprised if he
uploaded the flac version himself without even knowing it

well i just checked

i do have this version, they seem to be about the same

your version is a touch cleaner, and a bit better on the low
end ;)

is there a way to convert .m4a to mp3? foobar do it?

nah, that's ok.

i don't see much improvement with flac vs highrate mp3 for
live stuff.

mmmmmmm i need more subs to play this set

if you're going to convert, USE THE FLAC AS SOURCE

i already had it in mp3 btw. (vbr lame 3.98). i can't
remember if i had converted it myself, or someone else did.
anyways, it's just as good as the m4a version

offline mappatazee from ¨y¨z¨| (Burkina Faso) on 2007-03-04 00:00 [#02058007]

i don't know about using foobar to convert it, foobar should
play m4a anyway

offline Fredd-E from Belgium on 2007-03-04 02:02 [#02058019]

hmm indeed it's the same as: 2001-05-18 -
USA-California-Oakland - Club Indigo.flac

BUT

these are 4 m4a files:
01 = 6:22
02 = 35:44
03 = 10:08
04 = 14:07

The flac is equal to the second file (35:44). So these m4a
files cover more of this live set???? (1, 3 and 4 are not
included in the flac AFAIK)

i'm sure i've seen these four parts before, in flac. i
vaguely remember xceque being involved.

not that it matters
