I have seen a couple of close friends die and one end up having his losing an because he couldn't kick his heroin habit so decided to commit suicide by jumping on rail tracks. He hit the 'third rail' and bounced back off with the electric shock but got that badly burnt they had to remove his arm. I've got other people I know who sell the shit to anyone who can find the money to give them. I know kids in the area who's parents leave them on the street in the freezing cold until they get kicked out the pub or score their fix. Yeah excessive drink/drugs is shit. |

When I went to Uni I came back at Christmas to find two of my friends using heroin. In three months they had changed into steriotypical junkies. It is very sad and the worst part of it is there is nothing you can do. I have only known one alchoholic and I watched him go from bad to worse over a cvouple of years. |

You can't stop them, you become unimportant, in their scheme of things (unless you have money or drugs) It is one of the most frustrating things you can ever go through. I told one of my friends parents so that they might be able to help. They went into rehab met some other addicts and started using with other like minded people. |

when i came to poland and got tho secondary school i got into a really really bad relationship with some local guys from my school. after a month i was smoking all sorts of weed everyday. we started from one gram for us three, then after half a year a gram per person. i can remember how we all were beta-testing all that new stuff that dealer brought us. at the beginning some normal weed, after some time there was this stuff that had some consistency near plasticine. then there was this time where we got some brown stone-like shit which tasted more like something between hair-gel and poo. i have actually no idea what that shit was. the shitty thing about that was that weed works quite euforic and let's cally it "happy" but that last chemical stuff just caused massive halucinations and depressive feelings. i never had the guts to smoke something like this alone, rather wanted to have someone nearby to take care but i have to admit that those guys were rather more disturbing. at the time when i was continuing to school drugged everyday i came to the conclusion that i have to cut this or else. so i decided ask my parents if i could change my school pretending that i didn't like it. that was the first step - i still lived nearby them but i did like hundreds of sports and so on just for having something to tell them i'm busy. i haven't smoked a whole joint since then (4-5 years). when i talked to my friend (not one of the druggies) from that old neughbourhood lately he told me that they are all going on acid, amphetamine and other shit stuff, robbing people or doing worse things. |

i gram per session - i mean we went to the dealer, bought one gram and finished it it in a few minutes by kettle, diy pipe from plastic bottles. we didn't use joints a lot. the 1 gram per head was more about few hours. if i would inhale the whole thing at once i wouldn't post here anymore i guess |

it is much and it isn't much i guess. when you think of "normal" grass it sounds not very much i i can tell you that plasticine shit was some high condesed material. i have to admit that at this time i wasn't really realising much and my brain was in some kind of slo-mo. and i got used to the fact the forgetting about that time is the best thing to do so i might confuse some facts |

and and here is the plasticine stuff i remember once having the biggest puke of my live completely toxicating myseld with this shit. i remember that the next day i found a stone in my pocket. a normal garden stone. afterwards my "friends" told me that i thought this was the most beatiful stone ever and that i was very agrresive and wanted to hit them when they told me to throw it away. |

i had a big alcoholism a while back had it bad i got delerium tremens and halluc inated weird french boys tortured by gan gsters and djinns and deafmute girls sign ing sign language and puked a lot, not fun. hallucinogen toxicosis is different i guess but i always enjoyed using hallucinogens. |

i'm beginning to wonder if i have a drink problem. i used cannabis excessively (going through about a quarter to a half a day for about 4 years) during my teenage years and am severely paranoid as a result (see glade 2004 or whenever it was for evidence). a lot of my friends are turning into coke fiends. erm, that's about it. |

Treating this thread a lil more seriously though, I have noticed that it is almost impossible for me to be happy/socialise/have sex/be creative/tollerate other people unless im drinking which is becoming a concern. Just being so young its hard to identify a difference between this and regular youthful enthusiasm for drinking plus the aura of "cool" that goes with it. |

If drugs were legal we could have a governing body that helped prevent bad gear/an industry run buy drug addicts and gangsters. Also I think a lot of the unrealistic propaganda out there about drugs from governments has a placebo effect on users making them think they're more fucked than they are. I've decided to cut back on weed, mainly because of how it affects memory. Whenever I've had a good time stoned, a sober remembrance of the event reveals nothing much more than the fact it felt good. I smoke quality weed with hash once in half a year. I had problems with it when I was 14, I used to smoke every day and eventually got caught by the cops cause I was stupid. Fucked me up a bit, but I'm alright. The incident made me rethink my attitude, so I started researching more information about drugs and how they affect the mind etc and came to conclusion that this world is insane. Yes. I also tried acid 2 times, but it was impotent shit that didn't affect me at all. Never had addiction problems with anything either. Or loss of control problems. |

And yeah, one of the problems with drugs is that in order to get them, you have to get into a big chaotic mess of drug scene, which is full of retarded fuckheads who are more than willing to stab you in the eye for no reason at all. After the police incident I told myself that I'm done with it, and never got into the "scene" again. The only drugs I get now are from trusted and loving friends. I also know much more about the drugs than any of those little dickwads on the streets looking for ways of getting high. Knowledge is power. Planning on trying Salvia soon, since it's legal here. Maybe some 5-meo-dmt or 2ci too, since I have trusted sources. I also think that I'll be growing my some psylocibin shrooms and maybe weed. It's not a problem to order all this shit (cannabis seeds or mushroom spores) online. |

I certainly don't. I went to the WAREHOUSE PROJECT,and it was very much like a rave and everyone was off their tits, but I wasn't, and remained sober throughout. The gig was shit coz the acoustics were wank and not because I wasn't on drugs, but I got to meet a few peeps who I admire. |

You can go either way with that comment. its important to represent the positives of drug use as well as the negatives for complete representation of the issue. (fuck how shit can I be at times ) Otherwise when people take them and realise how amazing they can be, they can often feel like they've been lied to which can fuel an otherwise avoidable over-use of drugs..
