Does anybody have any spare head loop gifs, preferably mostly facing the camera but slightly not perfectly straight ahead like this one? I want to attach about three of them together at the neck and have a program randomly change the frames to make it all weird n shit behaving independently. Preferably about 20 frames instead of only 5 like this one.

I could use about 50 frames of something with cool visual transformation like a cacoon turning into a butterfly. I guess I should search 'the internet'.
How can I put a gif on the internet easily for others to see if its file size is too big for here?

Search YTMND, there's almost anything you could think of. Sometimes you can just right click and save the gif, sometimes you have to view the source and search for it, then paste it in your browser and save.

Where did you find that- in the right click 'view page source'? towards top/middle/bottom?

I wish I had a gif of a close human head where the camera simply circles around it once always facing it, ending up exactly where it started (1 loop around a head). I think I can make a program make it look like one head is getting all twisted up like licorice, alternate the twistiness, etc. Anybody have anything like this. That's why I want that spinning computer gif, but a human head would be much much better.

excellentedness. I'm gonna licorice-icize this and see if its cool then post the gif on imageshack; hopefully that will allow me to share it. If it's cool, maybe someone will donate their yummy human head to me. I wish I had a nice human kidney right now; I'd squeeze all the urin out of it into my mouth then eat the kidney.

A lot of them are compressed though, so you can't cut them up into separate frames.

These are perfect. Where the hell did you find THREE of them. I've had trouble finding 1 for a long time.

It'd be much better with as many frames as possible. Actually all I need is facing forware, turn, turn, facing backwards (I can flip the frames for the other side). Like 200 frames or something would be very awesome, if you happen to have such a thing in your archive of spinning human heads (I assume you do since you are the world's largest collector)

Yeah! Something like that in python. It would take me like 15 hours just to think about the pseudocode because I have down syndrome when thinking in whiles and ifs, then another week to make a completely incorrect program then another week to finally give up and start over, etc. You could probably have a complete program in 30 minutes.
  it should go something like:
ALL rows frame 1 ALL frame 2 ALL frame 3 (in sync for now)
(slowly goes out of sync) maybe top half of pic is frame 4, bottom half frame 5 5 & 6 6 & 7
  (more out of sync) into thirds 7 & 8 & 9 etc.
etc into fourths, then fifths, etc.
  I guess...

but the whole thing should probably go in and out of sync maybe even in non linear ways which would be a pain in the ass, and maybe in general it turns left for a bit, slower, stop, turn right a bit, slower, stop.. repeat.

It seems like it should work because each frame is mostly the same, but slightly different, and therefore chopping to the next frame in the next row (instead of next frame) should be a fairly smooth transition.

Here is my first pseudocode draft:
x = 3 y = -5 while: if: ... no that's wrong. if: while:... ok, if it's a while, then if an if, but if it's an if, then if a while while iffing an if only if x = 0 (then add 1 to y).
add 4 to x if the while terminates only if y = 1.
  return spinning head

I have no idea. Well as far as I know I'd have to repeatedly copy and paste rows like a million times. But it's fun to have a program because then you can alter it (yeah right, anything I make will be an unmaleable piece of shit)

I also never heard of steve reich.

to be more clear, I don't want to make ONE image of a twisted head, but rather a complete animation of it turning as normal but WHILE it is turning it gets twistier and twistier (ie at this time some rows turn faster), then untwistier and untwistier (some rows turn slower) until it's back in sync as a normal turning head, then retwist in the opposite direction or something.

DAMN you are quick. Thanks a lot! I already played with it a bunch and it will be helpful to 'study' it because I'm still pretty much a beginner. It took all this time just to save your output as this gif (I think there is a library or something that automatically saves images to a gif, but I never used it yet). All that is needed is a lot more frames in the original turning head like that one I linked to above. Then it won't be so choppy hopefully, still a little choppy unless there were like a thousand frames (I could eventually buy a movie camera and film REALLY slow moving around something, then figure out how to turn it all into individual images to load in the program. If the end result was super smooth, you could do other weird stuff like applying a second twist on top only around the horizontal instead. This only has 8 frames so is pretty choppy but you can already see the forehead moving first and the jaw last.
I'm gonna try loading those images of that turning cartoonish one instead.

If there were a thousand frames, that'd be awesome. There would be no large chunk blocks and the nose would just stretch across smoothly, etc. That'd be weird.

I manually converted 28 frames of that cartoony one into seperate jpgs... only 100 more to go ugh.

This is Sofa King awesome.
Compare this with the 'normal' head in the link in my post above that says 'this one has a lot of frames but is cartoony with sections missing.'

(the program, made by jkd, is much smoother flowing but I needed a small number of frames to post here).

  Medium twistiness :
