 hey!
I'm looking for some "Cover Creator Software", I am tired to try and to try different programs (freeware and shareware) I am looking for one software that has the "render" option, all the programs that I have tried only allow to print the works and to save them, but they do not make a image render (jpg or png), anyone knows some good software?, I have looked for all internets and no luck, help please! thanks a lot!

One word. Photoshop.
The learning curve is pretty steep, but it is undoubtably the greatest program ever made and has a million and one uses other than creating CD covers too.

thanks Brisk! yeah... I use Photoshop to make the graphic works... but always I have problems with the measures...

the standard size of a CD cover which is 12cm x 12cm (front cover), and 11.75cm x 15.1cm (back cover)

ok, but what about the "Resolution"? in "pixels/cm" (render/export using photoshop)

when I do "render" print and cut... I obtain a smaller square than the box, anyone knows that I must do?

300PPI should be fine. You can enable ruler guides by view/rulers.

CD covers can be printed directly onto A4 paper at the full size.

If you want to render the cd cover as a JPG for the web, make sure you work at 72PPI then just choose file/save for web.

Just don't expect it to look decent if you decide to print a 72PPI image :)

Printing is generally always 300PPI or above. But yeah, for web 72PPI is the one.
