me again - did it happen to anyone of you that your hdd is
physically ok, bios finds it but it's just empty? i mean
with no partitions at all?

my god pc's creep the hell out of me.

yeah it happens when you wipe the partition table.

that's the whole thing - partition magic says the partition
is dead but this isn't possible. i mean it didn't fell,
overheat or anything and it cannot be a software problem.

i switched it on like i switched it off and woosh - gone

no no no that just can't be. i mean i had like 5 crashes
with 3 different hdd's last year that just cannot be.

the problem is that no one of those program can rather help
me because it just says that the partition os completely
damaged or unavailable.

harddrive crashes hardly ever have some apparent cause, they
just die out of nowhere, sneaking up on you like the
bastards they are.

i sympathize tho, as i just lost every single track ive
written in the last three years while in the process of
copying it over to another harddrive.

just drag n dropped it, went to get some food, got back,
computer's off, try to boot up.... whoops no harddrive!
