Stephen James Knight- Everyone is Beautiful to Someone
A collaboration release between Thought Bludgeon & Reduced Phat
With an emotional temperament equivalent to a pendulum in an earthquake, the spectrum of music delivered can span from violent aggression to airy contentment; casting aside the brutal noise of former recordings, “Everyone is Beautiful to Someone”, the latest release from Stephen Knight, AKA EDGEY, brings about a different range of audible sound sculpture in a simpler, yet deeper pure form. “Being in control of my environment, rather than letting my environment control me, has had some effect on the writing process”, states Stephen on the collection of recordings taking almost 2 years to complete, and it shows. These 9 audio recordings form a solid 60 minutes of continuous unbroken sound, moving from one concept to the next and not to disappoint fans of the more aggressive sounds, 2 bonus tracks from Stephen’s “EDGEY” moniker has been added.

As a forum moderator myself, I understand the need to keep the one-time spammers out...
Truth is, I enjoy the music and produce as well, but have no avenue to participate in "the scene"... I thought this, and a few other sites would be a good place to start, didn't realise I'd come to such a jaded welcome...
Not very condusive toward expecting a return visit...

at least say "hello"?
From the registration-page:
1) Remember: Multiple accounts = permanent ban. 2) Signing up just to spam? That is not tolerated. We might even ban your account just for the sake of it - and it's strictly forbidden to create another account, so think twice before spamming around...
3) Choose your username wisely, as you're not allowed to change it nor start fresh with a new account.
.....and then getting surprised for being told off?

If you genuinely want to get involved in the community, then do so, and ignore the obligatory insults that newbies inevitably get. A lot of people just spam and leave so it's hardly surprising the staff here take issue with it.
If you are here to stay, welcome! And ignore dog_belch, he never has a nice word to say about anyone, except Ultramarine and B12.

Fair enough Phob.. I maintain darkstep.org, so I see it fairly often myself...
I spend most of my time making breakcore/darkstep/power noise and the like... I worked on my other project for quite some time, and really don't know "the scene", so I really don;t know where to "put it out there"... Different people have different things to offer (reviews/communities/magazine/nightclubs)... I have my music, and thought this would be a good spot to throw it out there. That's essentially my "contribution" to the scene.
As far as my interest in the music... aside from the general collection of Warp artists (I hate being that guy that's not hip to the coolest most underground scenester thing), theres alot of local artists doing a nice bit of glitch-out ambient I'm into.

hi edgey, nice to see you there! you were one of the first artists that got me into this electronic thing. it was about 3 or 4 years ago when me and my mate were searching for something new to listen to on the web (back then we were new to web music thing too) and we found your website. there were a lot of mp3 available, so we started to listen and really liked your songs and recorded a whole cd with your music and had some nice home parties with your music playing :) it`s not my kind of stuff anymore, but really thanks dude!!! :)

I'm still at it with the noisey business.. but I've finally found my creative outlet for other sounds too.
Different sounds for different moods :)
